kown bug yes, but there are ways around it:
whenever you find one that you can’t activate, you can fix it by getting into a new instance where it isn’t activated by someone already. here are ways of doing that:
- the easiest thing to try is portal to a different zone, and right back
- if that doesn’t work, while standing in front of it, log out (to char selection), but wait for timer so you don’t get teleported to town and back in
- you may have to try multiple times
- enabling crossplay can help sometimes: more population = more instances active
- disabling crossplay can also help sometimes: less population = higher chance of it not being activated by someone
- by the same logic you might have more luck at times of particularly high player count or low player count in your time zone
bit wonky yes, but i actually only ever needed to tp away and back to get mine.
