Tending Nature bug.
Playing a druid, done Moireach quest up until she want us to meet outside Tur Dulra to deal with poacher.
Can see the quest marker until I get close and
Moireach does not spawn.
Have tried to relog and also abandoned and picked up the quest again.
Same issue.
Update!
Seems to be an issue around entire deep forest?
Because the traveling scholar and A deepening shadow quest givers are not there aswell.
Update 2
Seems once I could switch difficulty tier in this case nightmare.
The npcs spawned normally and I could finish the quests.

I’m having this bug, Moireach and the other two quest NPCs in the area are not spawning.
Could you clarify Update 2? After you switch to world tier 4 they spawned? I’ve switched to tier 2 and 3 a couple times but they’ve yet to spawn. Haven’t unlocked WT4 just yet.
Have swapped through all four tiers at this point but the quest NPCs for Deep Forest still do not spawn. Didn’t run into this bug in previous seasons.
I switched to tier 3 for some reason it made my npc spawn even though I picked up the quest in tier2.
I had another issue in tier 4 Symon quest in hewezar 3 three pilgrims one smack and run away to question later did not spawn.
I tried to teleport to other zones nothing solved it.
As in above post I could see quest target on map but no npc once I came close.
Here I turned the difficult down one step and the npc spawned.
Don’t know why it seemed to worked for me.
But seem this season has a couple of sidequest bug with it this time.

Update: After clearing the hunters’ camp with Moireach, she transformed out of bear form then disappeared. The other two quest NPCs in the deep forest disappeared along with her. The quest seems to be the trigger for the issue.
Well, they all decided to spawn upon logging in today. Exited previous day at WT4 and came back at WT4, so didn’t really do anything different.
Seems like something out of sync/cached.

Switched to WT1 and Moireach reappeared to let me complete the quest (other two quest NPCs also spawned).
- Switched back to WT4 and the other two quest NPCs disappeared. More convinced the instances are out of sync for that area.

Yeah could be a server issue then perhaps?
But never happened to me before.
Had an issue after helping Locran down the cross he did not spawn.
But that time a simple leave the area and return fixed that issue.
I’m a completist even though I often make new characters each season I try to make it 100% side quest/dungeons haha It is a probably a compulsion disorder on my part:sweat_smile: so when sidequest has issues the completist in me suffers.
I had the same problem with “A Deepening Shadow” and now with “Fields of Ruin”.
For A Deepening Shadow the quest giver Shob`ha was not appearing on my Season character even though I have the Tul DĂşra Stronghold completed (pre requisite according to Wowhead). I switched to my Eternal Druid since he had the Stronghold done and quest giver was there and was able to complete chain without issue.
I had a similar issue with “Fields of Ruin” again on Season character. The quest giver Phelan was not appearing. I was unsure if I needed to start “What Ails Thee” in order to make him appear so I grabbed that in Cerrigar without issue. The marker for Phelan appeared on my map. When I arrived in the area the marker disappears (expected once you are near?) but Phelan not there. I tried on an Eternal character again but this time almost as soon as I left the city the map marker disappeared. I made my way to where Phelan should be and still no sign. I tried on a few other Eternal characters but same behavior. At this point I found this post and tried changing the difficulty to WT2 on Season and Phelan finally appeared.
I’m not sure if this is a new or old bug but all characters tested have never touched a side quest up until this point. I only ran into this since I am working on the quest achievements.
Update: Just has the same issue again with “Feral Moon” quest. Was able to collect the quest from Edan after completing the above quest “Fields of Ruin”. Collected quest item in Sarat’s Lair but when I came back out to return to Edan he was missing. Switched World Tier again and he appeared.

Yeah I’m as confused as both of you above never encountered these issues before.
The only issue I had last season also with symon’s quest in Hewazar by three they come.
Last part where as one shall break the door and three waves of enemies should spawn.
Had issue with last wave not spawning abandoned and picked up same issue.
Was playing necro minions than.
What theory we came up with than was that I was to overpowered and killed the mobs to fast.
So tried to run around the area and making sure my toon and minions did not kill the mobs or attacked the door with too much damage(auto attacked door) and waited til all mobs had spawned seemed to have fixed the issue this time.
But npc not showing up like in this season with quest marker showing target but no npc spawning until switching tiers has never occured to me before.
Also having quest NPCs disappearing in The Downs region, it appears. Quest marker is present but when you load the zone, all NPCs are missing.
Killing the completionist vibe a bit.

thanks for updating this with a solution
I am having the same issue with Fields of Ruin Quest.
Same bug with Tending nature and “a price to pay”. Npc disappears!
Well I fixed the bug with Aneta by going back to Veteran level.
Is it possible with all these bugs that players need to go back to the same difficulty at which they picked it up?

Don’t think that is needed?
As said above I picked up the deep woods/Scosglen quests on tier 2 but had to switch to tier 3 while they bugged to get them to work.
And one sidequest I picked upp on highest difficulty but once I bugged I lowered the difficulty to get it to work.
But as said don’t know why it works or why our sidequest keep bugging out.
Saw a workaround that was confirmed for multiple people in the EU D4 forums, disabling cross-network play.
At this point, though, I’ve run into multiple areas with missing NPCs. Switching world tier didn’t always work for me, but it sometimes did. Other times, just coming back to the game hours later allowed it to reappear.
EDIT: can confirm disabling cross-network play works. Nayan (outside Alzuuda - Scarred Coast) appeared for me. Hadn’t ever spawned in my current character (level 80).

I don’t know…but you can bet I’m just gonna try the same idea for the Festering Shambler no-show…
Disabling crossplay didn’t persuade the festering Shambler to make an appearance…
