Tenacity Rare Node Bugged?

So in my current build my Barb has 74,993 life. I realized I can remove 4 x 2% max life magic nodes and move up on the first paragon board to the Tenacity node that gives you 8% max life AND 4% max life if requirements are met (200 str for the extra 4%). So in total this rate node should give me 12% max hp.

However, with Tenacity my Barb now has 74,807 life.

Is the node bugged or am I missing something here?

Unequip your gear and put them back on. The game is still snapshotting your values.

Still 74,807 life after doing this. I have 69,272 life without Tenacity, so roughly an 8% increase instead of 12%.

If I remember correctly, it’s 4% + 4%, for a total of 8%, not 8% + 4%.

The rare nodes always double if requirements are met, yeah?
