Tempest roar is trash

Waited to level 94 and finally got one to realize that it is useless at this point for a shred build.

My current helm is 141 on life kill, 8.9% cool down, 53 willpower, 10.3% armor.

Current helm is by far better for survavibility and speed running, maybe I’m not the build to utilize the tempest roar despite META builds suggesting it?

what exactly makes this helm such a must for druids?

Storm skills = werewolf skills = storm skills during grizzly rage = go nuts with tornados.

This kinda just boils down to GR being a really good ult.

Thats what i figured, it’s just not meant for my build. Tornado is a storm skill… I dont know if i want to drop my shred build since i teleport to mob packs and it seems to be OP already

It will most likely receive a nerf as I’m pretty sure they hate builds that are super fast atm. Plus shred is bugged atm and doing more damage than intended so, expect that as well.

Def. Make a Nado build. You should have most of the aspects. The hardest part is finding TR

is it worth switching from a shred build to a nado build at level 93 though?

I would man! It’s def. Wish switching it up. Besides you will know the build if you find a TR in season 1

If you have the gold and equipment, sure. Might as well have some fun before patch drops and who knows what Bliz is gonna change. Will also get you familiar with the pros and cons of the build, for example I really don’t like the funky tracking of the tornados.

Tempest roar allow you use storm skill on Werewolf shape.
Shred build still need TR to use Hurricane during Glizzy rage that make enemy Vulnerable. With all benefit from paragon glyph, you increase damage to Vulnerable enemies you can deal tons of damage.
You still need to keep enemy after Glyph Exploit duration time up. That really strong for the battles with boss.
For other build especially for Storm build/Tornado-wolf, this build require TR to use Tornado in Werewolf shape and Gizzly rage.
That why everyone want Tempest roar.

google the Shrednado lilith build

I have all the main Druid uniques besides vasillys and played all of the main builds (besides a maxed out pulverize) and can easily say tempest Roar wolfnado is the strongest build in the game imo and pretty fun watching enemies get ripped apart with the 20 tornadoes on screen. Shred looks cool with the dbz teleport but the damage can be inconsistent if the bug doesn’t activate lol

We need something like Kanai’s cube with the ability to switch one unique for another of the same category. I’m 88 now and have picked 12 Vasilly’s so far, many other uniques, but no Tempest Roar yet. I ran a hybrid tornado build (leveling/endgame) till after 80 and decided to try something else with the Shred build. Single target damage without adds can be dismal using Shred, but I definitely clear most dungeons faster than Tornado. At this point I’d be pretty annoyed to find a TR with the season starting in a couple days.

I was in the same boat, I got 6 Vasilly’s and every other unique before I got tempest.

Yeah, shred is inconsistent, I only started clearing fast after level 90 when i got a 798 item waxing gibbous, but then the game is basically over as im 99 now.

I’ll give nado a try

Hurricane on a Shred/Waxing build is very good since masochist will just be constant life regen through map/stacks crit DMG in grizzly Rage…but guess patch notes tomorrow will kinda dictate where Shred goes.
