Nah it should even more rng so all your items gets bricked

Whats the point of playing an arpg then? Perhaps D3 is more suitable for your expectations?

No need to let us pick what we want but at least give us a reset option or remove limit number…that we can temper forever as long as there are enough materials for it.

Maybe because the actual item I am trying to temper is RARE and that is why?

It took me maybe 4-5hrs of spamming pits and gambling for boots to get one NOT GA that had a +3 warcry and DIDNT have health on hit or other lame stats.

Bricked it. Seriously, my wife thought I had fallen or something because my scream could be heard from the other room. NOT FUN.

I play to chase the gear, NOT to then try on an RNG fest of temper that tends to brick more than not.

STOP you and everyone like you with the fact things are “handed” by not having a price.

THE ACTUAL GEAR CHASE IS THE REASON YOU PLAY ARPG, not RNG systems like tempering.

Chill dude, it is a game >.>

I just view the tempering as part of the gear chase personally. It is a slightly more targeted version of the old gearing and it works. Can it be improved upon? Yes, but I feel like it is in an “okay” state. What they probably should do is figure out an “okay rate” to have a drop that resets tempering or adds a temper (depending on rarity they want).

Now, it sounds like they’re planning on having a system so you can limit the RNG involved in the tempering

Look at this well adjusted adult screaming at a video game. Thats one way to get taken serious.

This is pretty sad and embarrassing. Mature, rarional people dont act like children over a video game.

I mean there are like 13 layers to rng for one piece of gear. I’m not one who thinks tempering should necessarily be open ended but a game does not need that much rng.

When you are passionate about something, even mature and rational mature people can behave in an embarrassing way, just like when watching a sports game on TV.

There is nothing rational about that behaviour. He knows full well that whatever drops has only 3 out of 5 rolls and that temper rolls are not guaranteed. Its pathetic.

Would you yell at the screen every time something drops that does not have your desired stats? Because thats exactly what he is doing.

Ever been to a sports game? I’d say don’t go watch a world cup soccer game live if you think people don’t get emotional about their entertainment.
