Tempering system is broken

Bottom line is that the tempering system needs to be fixed. I can deal with the enchantment, but the tempering really makes my blood boil…

For all the ones who say the tempering system is fine with the trash arguments that people just want everything the easy way or everyone will get God rolls and quit after month, etc., etc., etc… First, have you thought that your opinion doesn’t matter to the individual player, let alone to that group of friends who play together? This is an individual game with co-op play. It isn’t Diablo 2 where people could pop in a game, hostile an entire party and clear the lobby because they have the best gear in the game… This is a game where people play the way they want to play and if they want to have the best rolls on their gear because they spent the extensive amounts of time finding it, then so be it. The game play shouldn’t be ruined by a broken system that has already handicapped the game by limiting tempered gear to one specific build… If I want to re-roll an item infinite times or reroll to fit a different build because it has the same affixes on it required for another build, I should be able to…

How this is achieved is not the point, the point is that limited rolls in tempering needs to go… The system should work the same way as the enchanting system. Roll, give two options, pick one or don’t, every roll becomes more expensive, but limiting tempering has only increased the real money markets and inflated the trade market to unobtainable gold amounts that only fuel the real money market.

This tempering topic is the top discussion on this forum and if it isn’t fixed in this patch, then it’s obvious that blizzard isn’t listening to the player base.

And to blizzard, if you really read these topics like your claim, and you want people to play the game longer than 1 month out the season, then give the players something exciting to play for because your solution of forcing players to grind for gear only to brick the item and force them to find a new one, rather buy a new one, will inevitably drive a significant portion of your player base away.

Oh, and only getting 9 more Neathiron from tier 101 to tier 121 doesn’t make sense… If anything, the reward should increase they higher tier you go. But this is a topic for another day…

That’s a lot of words to type out when you acknowledge there are patch notes coming any minute. Why wouldn’t you wait before vomiting in a thread?

To let Blizz know what’s up!
