100% agree. In D4 you dont always get what you want.
Not really. Uniques and mythic uniques have solid affixes and there’s no tempering. In that sense, streamers and no-lifers always get what they want with the exception of a specific GA
Your suggestion is “admirable, but mistaken.” It could be only two options. If Blizzard’s RNG design doesn’t want you to progress, it won’t let you progress. They add those options to obscure the RNG fraud.
That certainly would be a preference of mine too, but there are no tempering recipes with only two options. I could be wrong, but I think the minimun is three

Oh don’t even tell me. Just yesterday I got my self an almost perfect 2GA two-hander just to fail to hit Crit Damage tempering 14 times in a roll
