You don’t remember back when items that would drop for a level 100 character required level 100 to use? You don’t remember that you changed that because it was a dumb idea, making the cap to level 80 instead?
Why are we ALWAYS taking one step forward and two steps back with everything that comes out in this game?
You can use the highest tempering at level 1, you confuse me (raxx had a cool run doing this)
I have never seen Tempering increase the level requirement. And As mentioned above Raxxanterax did a Capstone at level 1 on Hardcore using legendary Tempers.

Masterworking is an End Game system to give lvl 100s a way to keep gaining power. The only reason you would care about the level requirement would be to twink it.
Levelling is already super easy with twinked manuals and Codex, you don’t need twinked Masterworked gear as well.
So if MW raises the level requirement I don’t really see the problem with that.

Also it’s not ONLY to twink, that just sound like some PTSD you have from WoW. There is no twinking in this game.
It is nice to wear gear on an alt when you get to level 80 though… as I stated, the entire community got behind them changing this 2 seasons ago. So you’re opinion is a bit late to the party.
80 is the item level cap, upping it just because you Masterwork is stupid. Period.

the thing is uber uniques have 35 lvl requiment, so imagine if you will be lvl 35 and in full masterworking shako/grandfather/whatever.
This will hurt this game i guess.
Twinking is just passing power from one character to a newer one. It’s in this game for sure but I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with it.
I think that getting access to your alt’s Tempers and Codex and then their best Legendaries and Uniques at level 80 is more than enough power. There’s just no need to use masterworked gear. I wouldn’t particularly care if they changed it, but I understand why they would have set it up this way.
I guess if you don’t have loads of spare and have masterworked a particular unique or GA item which is perfect for your alt it might be inconvenient. But when you will get from 80 to 100 in just a few hours I don’t think it’s a big deal.
People are levelling to 100 in under 6 hours already.
This just furthers my point, tbh…

I have never been blocked by someone before to my knowledge, on any platform, let alone for politely pointing out an error and then mildly disagreeing. Interesting, I like this new feeling. 
my ubers are fully masterworked and equippable on lvl 35. masterworking doesnt increase the level requirement.
however, inserting royal gems does, as their lvl is set to lvl 90. unsocket them, and the equippable level gets back to the original.
