Ok… DO IT. Or at least try. You will see how hard it is to defend that position.

Something essential in a debate is to study your opponent’s arguments. So believe me when I say that I already did it (not in public, obviously).

I have, since the Start. I still Am, what do you think I’m doing now?

I tried, although not in the way you say.

And I did it at the request of the developers themselves.

You see, there’s something called PTR and the developers explicitly asked for feedback, so I did.

Unfortunately, they didn’t listen to me, and I assumed I was wrong… until I saw the constant complaints. It turns out that I was right and many people were upset enough to enter this forum for the first time in their lives just to complain about this.

And the fact that they added the tempering reset scrolls proves that I’m right. More rolls don’t change anything, it just dilutes the problem.

And Yet it hasn’t Changed a thing since the Start of the tempering system almost over a year ago. Guess it’s not a big a problem to the Devs (which I already said to you on here).

Not everyone accepts that they are wrong when they are wrong. You or I are living proof of this. One of the two is wrong, but neither wants to believe it. The same thing happens with the devs. They don’t change it because they BELIEVE that they are not wrong, but maybe they are.

And I think, they are.

And until they prove in some way that they are not wrong, OBVIOUSLY I am not going to change my mind.

On the other hand, I think I have already proven that you are wrong, and you still haven’t changed your mind, so you are also proof that others might not change their minds even if it is proven that they are wrong.

So… It’s a really bad situation for the players… How do we prove that bad is bad?
The only thing we can do is keep complaining.

Again, you can’t speak for everyone. And you and I are assuming. And you are Basing your opinion on others who come here to complain. If anything the people who complain about it are the small minority compared to those who don’t/wouldn’t complain.

What, a total of let’s say… 16 people here can complain about the tempering system, you compare That to HOW many people in this world who still plays D 4 who may be fine/ok with it? Other then that being Logic, it’s Common sense.

However, I don’t care what they do about the temper system, they already gave us a scroll for it.

You can’t say either side is right or wrong (neither can I) because we can’t speak for anybody but “ourselves”.

The devs can make mistakes and they can be wrong.
They are not always wrong, but they are definitely not always right.

Now, notice that I am not insulting the devs, I am just calling them: Humans.

Which means that they always do something wrong.
SO: it is 100% true and undeniable that there are things wrong in Diablo4. This is not an opinion. This is reality.

“What are these things?” is one of the important questions, and the answer is an opinion.
And my opinion is that Tempering is one of these things.

Now… if you don’t complain, then you are accepting “the bad”, or worse: you believe that the bad is good.

You should have complaints (because: reality) and i think you should complain (to make the game better)

Yes, yes, let’s make the game exactly how you want, with out any kind of difficulty of hunting for the items again.
The game is already Hella Easy.

No, game is perfect, there is always room for improvement. Maybe in time they’ll swing back to the tempering system and change it. Until then maybe they’ll work on other glaring issues.

I don’t have any issues with people who complain, the issue I have is people speaking for others when that’s not the case for ALL.

Some people think the tempering should change, others do not. You Can Not say those who think the tempering Shouldn’t change is Wrong. That is your Opinion

No, you don’t get it. We all feel bad. But some feel good after feeling bad, so they say “this is fine”.

It is equivalent to going out with a coat in summer only to feel the coolness when taking off your coat.
Just because you feel good afterwards is no reason to go out with a coat in the summer… it’s something only a crazy person would do and defend.

“No, I never feel hot because I feel cool after taking off my coat”… nonsense!

I don’t feel bad, I go back out in the game and Re Hunt the item I may have Bricked. (I bricked items before, I go out and play the game and get it again).

There is no “we” there is “you”.

What? too complicated?

Let’s put it this way:

In real life, when you want to do tempering, you do it by cooling metal very quickly in a liquid substance.

There are two substances you can use, water and oil.

Water cools the metal very quickly, producing a very hard metal, but with the risk of the metal breaking due to how quickly it cools.

Oil, on the other hand, cools the metal more slowly, which significantly reduces the probability of breakage, but may not produce the necessary hardness, forcing you to perform another tempering.

So, which one would you choose:

Water for a quick but risky result?
Or oil for a slow but safe tempering?

I’m already tired of water… I want to try the oil, but let’s conserve water for those who enjoy the risk.
