i want them to add stuff you can farm to eliminate the RNG from them when you actualy need to (make my time invested actualy worth something more then gambling it away in seconds)
imho they did a great job with the mythics and how to get them. the drop rates feel great (making them more common would be too easy and less common would just feel the same as before)
3 ways to get them, random drop, random one from the blacksmith and a guaranteed craft with runes. was looking for a starless sky and only needed 1 rune to get it. so untill that dropped i thought i’d give the undercity a shot (could get lucky) and on the second run i got a 3GA starless ![]()
that felt great! and now i still have sparks for an other mythic (given that i find the runes or could just try my luck at the blacksmith again) it’s probably the first time i felt i had any controll over what i was farming for. (ok unique farming but the bosses are sooooooo booooooooring in this game and you’ll be doing a ton as 95% of the items isn’t ancestral)
to much RNG and gambling just isn’t fun imo. no RNG probably will make a dull game (any form of gambling that isn’t like gheed or obols can bugger off… period)
