I am so sick of bricking items! Scroll of restorations aren't enough. I am still bricking 9 out of 10 items I find. It takes days to find items with the stats you need. It's not goin to stop me from playing. It is a major annoyance, however.

Wow, another tempering thread that says the same thing.
I must be one lucky guy, I don’t brick as nearly as much as people “claim” they do.

With the scroll of retempering I am bricking far less now. Around 1 out of 15 tempers have bricked. I also stop when I get the affix I want even if it is a minimum roll.
Then when people take a risk/gamble and try to get a Better roll of their targeted aspect they get MAD as Hell and claim how bad the tempering is.
I bet a good % of people are upset JUST cause of this.

We need to be empathetic to those who swipe there credit card for a bis item that tempers suboptimally.
I’ll tell you one thing, I’ll Never go gambling with any of them. Their bad luck and Morale will just bring me down.
Yep. I dont believe all there ppl “i GoT tHe SaMe ThInG eVeRyTiMe”. I dont understand why these ppl play arpgs when you consider 2 things:
- They cant cope with RNG
- Games “my first arpg” basic level
Id hate to see them play an actual arpg. I kinda cant wait for PoE2 to read the fourms of all the tears.

I’m sure more items end up in a useful state than bricked state but still it doesn’t change the fact that some people brick their hard earned items.
I also don’t brick anything for a while since I couldn’t find anything worthy of tempering. No items no bricking.

Keep circle jerking, guys! Or maybe inform yourself about RNG. There is no true RNG in informatics. It is always designed RNG. And it is thousands of negative experiences with bad or predatory RNG against your circle.
Ok well You can try your risk in bricking your items or not. It’s all on you.
Hey, if you play Spiritborn, a perfect roll is not that important, but think about other classes! They practically need perfect or near perfect rolls to advance in the Pit and if you only get 1 chance in 14 tries, it can be frustrating!
Should tell you something if so many people are upset shouldn’t it?
When I want an item upgrade and I buy one, I literally buy 4 or 5 of the same stat item because I know at least 3 will brick and the one that doesn’t will have crappy low rolls

I’m not, And have NEVER EVER EVER Said it “isn’t” Frustrating.
All I’m saying, and have been saying for over 8 WEEKS, is that I brick something, I’m gonna continue to play the game and get the item again …maybe even get something Better.
My experience is different from other people experiences. Sometimes it’s Good, sometimes it’s bad. I can’t help that.
SO Yes, it’s frustrating, but it’s what’s given to us, we either play the game or don’t.
So many people based upon the forums? Sure, but how many are frustrated in the world who bought this game (who) may actually be fine with it…
Who knows.
I consider, and will always consider the people here on the forums the Minority. And just cause, let’s just say… 25 people who frequent the forums feels some type of way does not WARRANT the change of a game, especially compared to the rest of the world.
I brick much less but feels like the temper rolls are so bad that I still end up bricking trying to get a high roll.

Here, Reddit, twitch chat, YouTube comments, YouTube chat, twitter, hell the other day I was in the gym and heard two guys by the squat rack complaining about it… so it’s technically anecdotal, but it also aligns with my personal experience (I joined in on the complain fest at the gym between sets) so I wouldn’t say it’s an isolated problem that a small portion of the player base deals with.

And your Opinion, out of Everything you mentioned here (the different platforms) and “Guys at the gym” 
Taking all of that into consideration, how many people do you think dislike tempering compared to Others who you have no concrete evidence for? - The silent people who Don’t go to these websites or Gym?
Because my solution to you, your gym friends and anyone else is that doesn’t like the tempering system…
Stop playing Diablo 4.
Maybe, just mayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyybe, if enough people stop playing because of the tempering system, The Dev teams will fix it to the likings of those who don’t like the system.
Just stop playing, stop giving blizzard money, stop supporting Blizzard by visiting the forums.
I’m not being “Mean” or bad or w/e a person can try to call “me”, I’m honestly giving people advice over what to do.
Cause people haven been complaining about this for a long long time, now it’s YOUR time to up your level by not Playing.

You’re missing the point, I’m sure there are a TON of people who don’t care or frankly don’t even understand the system. I bet there’s a lot of people who log in on their ps5 and play for 30 minutes and don’t come back for 4 more days. Of course many won’t complain about it because it doesn’t affect them. The point about the guys in the gym is this. If it wasn’t a big deal, what are the odds these random guys would discuss that around a stranger that is also affected by it? That’s the point, it’s clearly a big enough deal for that random event to happen.

I was laughing honestly because the random dudes I don’t know were complaining, I said, hey any chance you’re complaining about Diablo 4? They laughed and started telling me their best brick stories of the gg items they absolutely ruined. I shared mine and all had a collective sigh of disappointment wishing the system respected our time more. Oh well
I did get some new battle net ids for some gaming sessions though!
