The game is almost perfect as it stands now except for 1 thing, Tempering. If Masterwork can be reset, why not tempering? You could do x10 amount of Stygian stones or heck make the amount higher to make you work for it to reset a temper. Adding more chances to temper for GA items ain’t much cause you could roll the same stats for all those chances especially if the pool got 4+ stats to roll on.
Now I’m sure people will blast me on this but there are multiple posts about it so it is a problem whether you like it or not. That’s why the idea of using an X amount of Stygian Stones is an idea to reset it. Make the amount higher for the try hards if possible just anything for a way to reset em. If people wanna gamble, then play slot machines or go to Vegas.

Just because there are some people whining on the forums, where it’s 90% negative at all times, does not mean everyone hates tempering.
I’ve had plenty of success tempering my equipment this season. So many categories now only have 3 stats, a few with 4, and it’s honestly been fine. Tempering shouldn’t have resets because it would just make it ridiculously easy to get everything you want. Not only that, it makes all of the systems like enchanting/masterworking just feel the same. The game is already ridiculously easy to obtain all the gear you need and people really want a tempering reset to make it even more streamlined? Even if you put a big cost like 10x Stygian Stones or a Resplendent Spark, you know damn well the same people whining now will be whining again that it’s too hard to reset their “bricked” items. These kinds of people will never be pleased.
There’s always room for improving the tempering system so that it still feels good to engage with, which currently it’s not quite there yet, but a full on temper reset is not a good solution, unless you want to turn the game even more into D3, where a season lasts a few days, which we’re already at that point for blasters/dedicated players.
Why? I see no reason to punish us for resetting a temper. It should be the same as resetting master working. It should be more like enchanting the more you roll the more it cost in mats. After all that is what tempering really is, It works just like enchanting with a pre-defined set of rules. But i know that would not work either because people already complain that enchanting is too expensive.
Got my first 3GA yesterday… 5 in row +armor, than dodge, than armor, armor, armor.
Was fun, really enjoyed it
I think the game wants you to make a Barb or a new Barb and name him Ironside.
Yeah seem like the boys in the engine room need to tighten a few screws and check the oil on this.
I’m sure they will fine a solution
