Tempering Desaster

It was orange text items. I think it required a magic item, specific pgem to item you were crafting, rune like Ort and mgic gem. Crafting required alot and generated trash almost all the time. Ive never got a good ammy to replace mara but they could be BIS items.

The lower stat rolled ones depending on the RW was like using a 4/5 in D4. There were some RW that didnt matter.

I wouldn’t necessarily say that but gearing feels progressive until you get to a specific point where you’re pretty geared looking for that close to bis item.

Going into D2 yes you could semi target farm but things are rare. The target farm system is more on monster level. For example tals armor can drop from any monster above lv 85 but the odds if you finding one are extreamly rare.

:100: theres no longer a leveling journy. Self found loot profession is 2-3 weeks, less if your playing trade sim. Endgame modes are super linear so there is no flavor to it other then going down a hallway.

Tbh I never played DI, im against the whole P2W model.

As am I. I only play maybe 2 hours a day for the first few weeks. I do hit the first weekend pretty hard tho.

I wouldnt say that. I got super lucky this season but if your casual not playing trade sim just view it as something nice to have. Honestly you dont need it unless your playing to push the pits past 140+. Eveeything outside of the pit is a one shot.

But that is the nice thing about RNG, yes the less monsters you kill the less of a chances you get but the odds are the same across the board.

Weve all had some items that didnt work out and thats ok.

It took me over 300 runs to get both unique tuning stones in S3. Sometimes the RNG gods are just mean lol…

I do believe they can rework the manuals to tighten up the possibilities. For example FO and FB should not be on the same manual. Yes there should be RNG but it should be targeted towards the individual skills. Idk if there is 1 manual for each skill with fillers.

Example with FO:

  1. %to 2x cast FO
  2. Cold dmg
  3. % to freeze
  4. % to chill

Obviously Id want the 2x cast but I could use any of the other stats with FO. Currently I can roll frost bolt which isnt used on a FO build. Thats what I would like to see. Along with manuals only having 4 possibilities to roll on. 75% chance to roll suboptimal should be where it sits, not 80%+
