I wanted to remove some of illusion and skepticism that is the youtube hype train. To start things out I am a level 73 necromancer, I am playing a crit, vuln, damage amp minion only build. The most I hit for is 17,000 when my golem critically strikes and the stars align. I am in full 725 gear with a 768+25 weapon. My normal hits are around 3-4k and my lower crits are about 6-9k. To clarify, the only damaging skills I use are skeletal warriors, mages, golem, and army of the dead. My damage has a near 100% uptime so long as my army doesn’t decide to make love to a wall or be unresponsive. Overall I love my build, but it is slow and at about tier 35 it takes me 15-25 minutes to run a single dungeon.
