A few facts I collected FYI:

For Season 7 we got:

28 free rewards

Season 8:

10 free rewards and Platinum:

  • 1 mount armor
  • 200 Platinum
  • 1 armor piece (gloves, but all other pieces are in the premium BP)
  • 3+3 weapon cosmetics

22 additional premium rewards:

  • 6 weapon cosmetics
  • 4 armor pieces
  • 1 mounts
  • 3 mount armor
  • 1 mount trophy
  • 1 pet
  • 1 Set of Armor cosmetics per class
  • 1 Town Portal

So the free BP in season 8 has an additional mount with armor and 200 Platinum, but is missing the set of roleplay cosmetics. That’s ok, even though I like the roleplay sets.

But the premium BP has far less parts:

  • ⅓ of the weapon cosmetics
  • 1 instead of 2 town portals
  • 1 instead of 2 mounts
  • 1 instead of 4 mount trophies
  • no titles
  • no headstones
  • no emblems
  • no 700 Platinum, but 200 in free BP
  • 3 instead of 1 mount armor
  • 1 pet instead of none

My opinion about the new BP:

  1. I like the new design, events can have BPs as well in the same format.
  2. I don’t think not getting 70 % of your money back is a big problem, but why not put the Platinum behind bigger costs in favor currency. That way we could have a bit of a grind.
  3. Why not put a bit of Platinum in the premium variant with higher costs in favor currency (for the grind), as well as some titles and other small things?
  4. Why are there so few items in the premium BP when it’s getting so much more expensive?

t would be so easy to make it more interesting.
In the free BP, just add another set of roleplay cosmetics.

In the premium one, just add some headstones, titles, emblems, a 2nd town portal and maybe 100 Platinum each with costs of 50 favor currency per 50 Platinum to get us a bit of a grind.

Hopefully the new BP next week for the Berserk event will be better.

It’s always the same with Blizzard.
They have great ideas, but they don’t think them through.
They just stop working on it when it’s 50 % done and then release the unfinished product.

New BP is predatory(Feeding on fomo) no one likes it

It has to go!

They reckon they are listening to feedback S8 will confirm or deny that cause so far not looking good!

  • For fomo reasons, just delete the option of directly buying everything with Platin.
  • If Platinum is added to the premium BP, put it in a second stage, such that you cannot buy it until you got everything else in this reliquary.
  • And of course make it possible to buy the 1000 Platin BP, even if you already purchased 1 or 2 parts.

200 Platinum one already bought and we want to buy the one for 800 Platinum, just give us the 500 one for free.
500 one already bought and you want to buy the 800 one, only give us an option to buy the rest for 500. No overpaying allowed.
