then yes i totally agree
well said bro, we support you. lets hope some dev at bliz reads your text and takes it into consideration!
I’m really not a fan of the IH either…even if you have a build worthy of doing them it is still just carpel tunnel waiting to happen. Some builds you can basically one button most of the time (console player here) but still gets really old really fast and the council fight it basically just wailing for minutes against bosses with trillions of health.
NMD and Pits have an ebb and flow that is much more enjoyable for me.
For my “pushing” character I’m using a fairly cookie cutter blood golem necro. Now, to be fair, that is not an AOE based build and it struggles when there are a lot of enemies on screen because it’s basically impossible to prioritize them.
That being said:
- This was not a problem until T7.
- Even single target T7 fights are far too overtuned (opening fight, which is basically just an elite, burning butcher one on one which should be equivalent of maybe a difficult boss, but really shouldn’t considering you’re supposed to handle him while being swarmed, not get a sudden game over from RNG)
- Much more difficult monsters based on “monster level” (for what it’s worth, which may be nothing, see my original post) in pits are incredibly easy, including bosses.
- This build can easily climb into pit levels most non-metas can’t reach.
But its so easy for an sss trade and group boosted build, bro! Git good, bro
I can do pit 86 no problem whatsoever , try to go into either tier 6 or 7 , wtf , this is not even on the same level.
The IH is such a pain , I hate the wave and wave after wave , what is this , some sort of masochistic , epeen , bs
I just want mats to MW , and i either have to do 100’s of pit runs , or hit the IH WALL
just effin sucks at best
IRT topic, I think I tried T7 & got crushed, then MW a few pieces past 4 (Kek) and melted it… but was on LS sorc (seasonal). I’ve seen first hand how LS is on another level, so I haven’t even tried IH on alts so far - what’s the point.
The only problem with this satire is, “my own build” includes ppl with a “5 Basic” setup. Fully upgraded.
The rest is fine, makes sense.
if you have half a brain so you can understand how to make a build it is very easy to make a build to clear high level content. but if you dont take the time to learn the systems and just throw any gear on, any skills together and grab any random paragon, then no you shouldnt be able to clear high content
Even if you follow the known build sites (Maxroll, IcyVeins, Moby, etc) and put together something capable of surviving T7 or possibly T8 it still does not change the fact they are terribly boring and monotonous. It is a joke the T7 monsters show level 180 as the tier is harder than Pit level monsters that show 199.
It is especially frustrating for builds that do not excel in AoE damage also. My Bash Barb can do them but it is no fun at all.
well that is mainly because you are choosing boons/banes for 9-10 levels. the monsters will continue to get buffs each level. ofcourse they end up being more difficult. thats also called math. if i have lvl 180 monsters and buff their dmg 200% they end up hitting harder than pit 199 monsters.
Yep. It becomes monotonous just like Pit. So the case against Pit being monotonous isn’t really a strong case against IH.
They are both monotonous once you have done a lot of them.
In terms of build diversity and access to Neaths, Pit is more forgiving. IH is not.
Then why are you attempting T7 hordes to begin with? That is pushing content.
this season I just made a meta class and used it to farm t7 mats to feed my non-meta class. I mean of course certain classes clear a circle arena better than other classes. just like how some classes are really good a speeding through the pit. so if that is how I want to get mats I have to adapt my play style. not like it was difficult with mothers blessing, xp urn, and friends to get a second max character. Should be even easier to alt in 2.0 with paragon changes too…
and it isn’t hard to cast lightning spear over and over again, or blood surge over and over, or whirlwind over and over again. and going into a hoard solo means the monsters have less health, which makes it even easier. it can be done by anyone. sure not every class. but anyone can do it.
They’re harder before the boons and banes.
the trash and elites in. t7 is way easier than a pit99 in that first level. the t7 only starts getting to pit99 difficulty around wave 6 after you stacked so many banes
T7 is 180. Pit 91 is 190.
Opening elite takes longer to kill with my entire necro army on it than a group of enemies and elites in a pit.
Hordes are the best part of S5. IF you think hordes are boring or dumb then its time to take a long break. Hordes are fantastic. They only thing that saved S5.
IF you can clear pit ok but have issues in T7 hordes then you aoe isnt enuf. Hordes throws immense enemies at you. Solve your aoe problem and you will be fine. If your build can only kill a handful of enemies at a time you are in big trouble.
Butcher can still be op for many builds. Never choose him in options and if he randomly spawns and you are sunk ask for help in trade. PPL will always halp.
The best is when two burning butchers spawn (selected and random at once). not being sarcastic, that was indeed interesting.
But it’s all changing again soon enough.
Tbh IH didn’t feel harder than before, just crap spawns all over the place, spires upon spires upon spires upon more fkin spires
Hellborne buffs are irrelevant if the game keeps spawning fkin spires 24/7, fun thing is that if you pick aether lords (That suck big time) THEN it’s aether lords…if you pick hellbornes…spire time
Fml
All that talk about T7. I will do a couple of runs now. I need some styggies i will combine with the googolplex amount of living steel i hoarded and visit grigoire a last time before S6.
