T3 - T4 too hard threads

This season spiritborn has got new fancy pants. Most S-Tier builds are based on those pants. Those builds perform very well in mystic circles, at high paragon levels and perfect gear to cap the resistances.
Outside of pit pushing and at low levels, that build is super squishy and dies like nothing due to lack of life, defense and resistances.
It’s very hard to get it out of T2. Now, people who scream at streamers, youtubers and maxroll probably follow the exact subpar progression path laid out to them, then come here to complain the game is too hard because of S-Tier struggle blabla.
Minion necro and chain lightning sorc take the cake for the smoothest progression to T4. Try those for example. Early farming is done with the evade build on spiritborn. You need to gamble the staff and are ready to go.

P.S.: I am not someone who plays day and night long D4. Oo, I’ve also created a non mythic necro build which destroys Belial. That build isn’t listed anywhere. You don’t need mythics to get mythics.

I started a charged bolts sorc like 3 days ago and she’s already in T4.

If this offmeta build which isn’t even listed on any tier list can do it with lvl 0 glyphs then anyone can.

You are right, but to be fair, i think, your paragon lvl is quite high and your gear somewhat decent, right?

My minion necro was in T2 after 7h played over 3 days. I am talking about the start of the season.

Yeah, i quoted Koresz, but if you are the one who posted directly after him, you can’t see the quote.

I’m only 216 right now, but yeah, my gear is more than decent (got them with hydra sorc), so if I would have started with this build I obviously couldn’t reach this in 3 days, but over time it would have been perfectly possible, just slower than a meta build.

This build struggled with T4 in S6 but diff got nerfed so…

Wait do what? Get to t4 with lvl 0 glyphs?

Yeah this forum does some dumb stuff and that is at the top, if people are trying to specify exactly what they are referencing.

If you do it a 2nd time it should stay. Edit it back in, I mean.

Since I unlocked pit tiers up to 100 with my main sorc I only needed to do the tiers I needed to unlock the next difficulty on my alt and I obviously got the wrong glyphs as reward so the ones I actually wanted to use were not even unlocked before I got to T4.

Oh sorry I read that as using lvl 0 glyphs…but you meant not using the glyphs you wanted? Right?

There is not really any way to make T4 without glyphs at, at least 40ish and more likely 46 on non-meta, the extra bonuses help a lot. I ran a Charged Bolts build last season on my thread, I thought you were the one who suggested it but I would have to look to check, if I am being honest. :stuck_out_tongue:

With P216 you also could access 5 legendary nodes on the boards. It’s likely that you had maxed seasonal powers and all the aspects that you need plus maxed tempering bases for your items also. If you had an azurewrath lying around the base LH chance on charged bolts is also very high. The combination of those things is more than enough to leap into T4.

I have made it to T4 with lv15 glyphs on a barbarian this season through basically the same sort of progression minus the legendary aspects.

cool so you made a subpar build to beat easy content… game is stupid easy anyone who complains probably can’t read or add

Yes, I meant not using the right ones.

Yeah, I remember it and I was the one who suggested it. The point of your thread was to prove pretty much anything can roll T4 right? Which you did. Ofc it’s harder but still doable.

I know u asked him but my Hydra was walking all over T4 enemies when I actually did not even have a single Glyph other than 1 irrelevant one that I did not put on board, let alone having the ones I am looking for.

Due to my previous class progression, after 60 I was able to have a 217 paragon points, with no glyph, fully geared but no MW yet. I was able to speed run put 65-70 with no glyph. Which allowed me to get the glyphs as well as fill them to level 40-50 easily. After glyph level 46 I was able to solo 85 easily and was able to keep up in a party vs pit 90-95 packs. And many strongroom and escelating NMD runs for the obducite and MW.

I was asking for non-meta builds.

Ok, my bad. (20 characters)

I started out on SC with an Evade SB and ended up just carrying it to it’s Endgame build and found that was pretty smooth. There was a layover in T3 for a bit as I transitioned all my gear from starter to endgame but once that was done T4 and Zoom.

Now doing a Hydra Sorc from leveling build to endgame on HC and no complaints so far.

I made it to T4 with Paragon 100 and no mythics. A CL sorc but no Azurewrath or Fist of Fate or other best in slot pieces save Axial Conduit pants and Tal Rasha ring. Not resistance or armor capped either. So did the pit level required, finished with less than a minute left. So getting there is not a problem but staying there was. It was slow going as my DPS and defense was trash so farming for gear took forever. I could not do any of the bosses, even the Blood Maiden gaslighted me.

But I enjoyed the trip. It’s hard as it was meant to be though I think it’s not hard enough. And the rewards for getting there and farming there are lackluster and very uphill so definitely a case of the cart before the horse. Basically don’t go too soon, ready yourself on the lower tiers first.

I absolutely call BS on you doing T4 w/ zero glyphs on any character in D4 right now.

I found the standard quill volley build with the Rod of Kepeleke, was easier for progressing through torment levels. Some of these endgame builds are pretty clunky without all of the proper stats and it’s better to wait until you have collected a good set of gear.
