When I Switch from PC to PS5 can I use the same acct or do I have to start from scratch
The game has Cross-Progression. You do need to buy another copy of the game for the PS5. Besides that “annoyance” everything will progress on both systems
Just buy a controller for your PC? It’s compatible with the game. Then you can also use it for other games in the future. Rather than have 2 of the same game.
If you already have a playstation with a controller. You don’t need to switch at all. Just plug it into your PC with a USB cable. D4 will just autodetect it and let you use it.

It’s already cross console so you can play with anyone on any system. I don’t really see why else you would switch. If your PC was built well it should also have better specs than a PS5 as well.
I play on the PC with a controller also on my laptop. I just wanted to try the PS5, but wanted to use the acct I have now, because of everything associated with it. I already know I will have to buy the game again. I know more cash than brains.
yes it uses the same account. i have both ps5 and pc versions.

Only thing I’d say is personally i’d rather buy a whole other game, extra controller for my pc or whatever.
This game wasn’t good enough to warrant buying 2 copy’s imo. And secondly there is no upside to it. It will feel exactly the same as you using your controller on the PC.
To each their own though. It’s your money you can set it on fire if you like lol

If you gonna buy on both platform, don’t link your account with pc progress it just damn wasteful. I mean it new season anyway just start again, having 2 account on both console and pc is a plus.
Like for example if blizzard don’t do jack this time about people dupe exploits, now with 2 account you can do it yourself when the new dupe are in town, aint that great?
jk jk but it true have 2 account is a big plus if you actually make use of it. it only painful to grind renown for new account.

Why not buy a controller and stick in on your pc
Licenses are separated. Once you buy the game to play in PS you can login in the same account and keep progressing in either PC or PS
I have just recently done this myself and I’m finding I have to redo the mercenary path so far. But most of the things seem intact. It’s nice to be able to sit in the living room and play this game. I understand what people are trying to tell you to save money and this and that but sometimes you know you just want to play on a nice big huge screen sitting in your living room.
