Anyone else having problems with the middle mouse button not working to swap from auto to a specific weapon for abilities? no matter what i do i cant get it to work and its driving me nuts
You have your skill tree open when trying to do it? Mines working currently.

yep. idk whats up. ive seen some other people saying the same thing. didnt know if there was a trick.
Either do it from the ability allocate screen, or just relaunch the game, really stupid bug.
Nothing works for me.
All the mouse wheel does for me is zoom in and out. I don’t even have the camera zoom enabled in the settings. I can never use duel wiled weapons or my 2H bludgeoning weapon for skills that are usable with any weapon in the arsenal, which means I can’t skill up my expertise on anything but the 2H slashing weapon.
You have to assign the weapon type to the skill.
You have to press A on your keyboard, while the skill tree is open mouse over your ability bar where you have an ability that can use various weapons, then you click in your middle click to change which weapon is used.

I press S to bring up the skill window. Then you hover above the skill you’re interested in. Should be able to scroll the mouse wheel down to see all the context in the pop-up window that came up when hovering. Should be able to press middle mouse button to switch weapon modes if the skill allows switching (not all skills do).
What i figured out is that the middle mouse button doesn’t work for me if there is a gamepad connected, even if I play with keyboard and mouse. Changing the weapon with the x button on my gamepad was possible though. Maybe this is some help for others…
