Yeah, it is not friendly for that. I will say that some of the past Twitch promos have eventually shown up in the Shop as free gifts in the past month or so. So you may have a second chance to get the horse for your collection. I know the goal is to get us to look at the shop as a marketing technique, but - hey free stuff.

That’s actually good to know because I avoid the shop the like the plague. I actually missed out on the holiday one they had because I was on vacation and couldn’t login. Missed it by a few hours.

I’m not against it. I’d probably take anything besides “look, another horse”.
To be fair, HotS (one of my favorite games ever) was sorta the same way at first but I was ok with it because it was still in alpha/beta phase back then. They have added SO MUCH amazing content since then and none of it required any of the stuff D4 requires. I actually looked for excuses to spend money on that game. I really loved and still love it that much. Zero regrets.

Not a horse I’d ever care to use
Season pass costs only like 3$ per season (you get 700 platinum back). It is like 15$ a year. Very conservative in my opinion.

Well said. I know Twitch is hurting for money right now, but IMO they should step in and take a stand on stuff like this.
I bet they’d feel differently if the same sort of transaction obfuscation scheme were being run by the girls advertising OF on Twitch.

No, thanks. I’d consider it if my Prime sub counted for one of the two but it doesn’t. I’m not invested enough in streamer culture to spend anything more than that.
