Suggestions for the game in near future

Everybody knows D4 lacks of endgame. Past one year and things didn´t changed too much. So, why not keep all seasonal contents permanent once the season ends ?

  • Bring back the Abattoir of Zir NMD
  • Bring back the vaults and its world events to collect materials to spawn Malphas.
  • Bring back Malphas as Tormented boss with the same chance to drop mythic items.
  • Bring back the blood harvest event and the corresponding faction.
  • Bring back the malignant gems and let people use 1 gem if they want too.
  • Enhance and make Hell breaches viable as endgame.
  • Enhance the strongholds and make them account wide
  • Add reputation vendors to each faction so we can buy mounts and cosmetics as we advance in the reputation.

Keep doing the same on every new season, adapting those seasonal contents o work permanently in both Seasonal and Eternal realms.

the above suggestion would double the staff needed for maintenance and development. otherwise, no current staff is going to double their workload for the same pay, and old content does not justify profitability to the company.

it needs a lot of concrete data to support the revival of old content.

I disagree. They’ve added a ton of endgame to D4. What they need to do now is to refine and improve the loot chase and the balance of endgame content.

They basically did that the last two seasons, but I don’t think it’s a good idea as a blanket policy. First of all, it will make them far more conservative with the seasonal content because they will want it to balance with everything else. Second, it will mean that there’s a lot less difference from one season to the next, because instead of replace an old system with a new one, you are keeping both, which cuts the magnitude of the change in half. And third, the game will quickly get bloated with all these different activities that give you all these little bonuses you have to chase down.

Can you clarify what you mean by “end game”
Since i dont seem to find any in the game

All they added was stuff readily available in the d3 engine (on which they built d4)

İ dont call pit and infernal hordes end game content tbh since they are boring as hell and they were already available in d3 with different names … i didnt need to buy d4 for the copy paste stuff

You cant just add season stuff to eternal and season every season or you end up with POE. Bloated mess impossible to balance. Everyone by now if you did this would have blood powers, malig gems, senchal pet, ect. It gets out of hand fast. How are you ever going to balance this in any way??

You have to take a measured approach and make powers items like they did before. You just cant have stacking power every season.

Your telling me there is no way to balance those things for eternal realm? Quit giving this dev team a pass, get rid of eternal if you don’t want to add content there. Math isn’t hard it only gets out of hand with tons of multipliers they didn’t bother to test

Im not saying dont add content but it has to be done in a way that does not add permanent power or you end up with POE. How are you going to have stacking power and make eternal balanced in any way? PPL would be blasting while naked because they have barber heart, senchal pet, blood powers, ect and this is less than one year of power. What happens after 15 seasons? 30 seasons??

No there is a way. The way they have already used with blood powers as items. But permanent power is never going to work to stack in eternal. You either make it usable and it gets out of hand or you make in so miniscule nobody cares. There is no way to add it permanently and be balanced. Permanent stacking power turns the game into POE. You cant do it. There is no way. The only way to do this is a new mode called legacy that just lets everything stack and then tries to balance the game on this new mode but probably fails miserably. But putting this on eternal is a big :x:.

Your telling me they can’t increase mob HP? That’s literally how they balance seasons but can’t do it for eternal?

You are not seeing big picture. Look at the game from a long term view. Say they do this. Then look way out and look at season 25. Players by now have 25 seasons of power so mobs have a gazillion hp. What are new players supposed to do now?
This is why this doesnt work. You cant balance it just by adding life. Its basically impossible to balance this. This is why they gave us powers but in the form of items.

More open world lazy s*** to do. The thing that the game actually needs is a proper progression journey that isn t just jumping difficulties wich are the same but with bigger numbers.
