So I play Diablo IV since the open beta. All season except season 3. I rly like the direction the game is going and rly appreciate what the devs managed to accomplish since release.
I think the Xbox/console version could need some quality of life improvements.
- We need better keyboard support for chatting. Right know i have to open the virtual keyboard with the controller in order to type on my physical keyboard. Finally sending the message only works with controller.
This process is super uncomfortable. Now with party finder and raid we need some improvements here. If I am doing something wrong on my Xbox, pls tell me!
Can we just press enter on the keyboard to open chat, send messages and pressing tab to switch chats?
- With the Dark Citadel we got some new consumeables. Right now i use the radial menu for emotes, party invites, trading and the new marks. Also I don’t want to remove my thumb from the controle stick in order to open the radial menu mid combat.
I thought about an extra radial menu for consumeables while holding down the lb button (potion). With the right stick you can select the consumable. Just tabbing the button should use a potion or maybe a customized quick use consumeable.
- My keyboard has an integrated mouse. I would love to use the touchpad just to quickly hover over my buffs/debuffs. As a console player you have to open the Charakter menu in order to see what the buffs/debuffs are doing.
So these are my 3 specific xbox version feedback. I guess PlayStation players have the same problems. I hope one of the blizzard devs reads this. Console version needs some love
