these massive lag spikes that trigger 500+ MS are just insane lately. at first i thought it was just my crap wifi adapter that only does 200/200. even on my hard line it does it too.
wasnt even this bad before last patch. cant even do pit or hordes it happens every 2-5mins.
sometimes its okay and just pops up to 200ms
98% of the time its over 500, even in the 1000ms.
ran a latency watcher program and im not having issues with my internet.
lowered my graphics settings
lowered the amount of FPS
HARD lined my pc
still getting over 500ms random spikes every 2-5mins
i also sit at 100-110ms in game. seems these servers are only west coast

Yeah. It’s a bit wild that last week prior to the hotfix to sorcs that was supposed to fix the
Of lag/stuttering, I dealt with no such issues. Nor did I see any posts on the forums complaining about it.
But afterwards, I started having issues and now this is another of a bunch of posts complaining.

Yeah, the lag spikes are pretty insane. I especially see them all the time when loading into a town. Vendors don’t respond when clicked for an annoying amount of time quite often, even opening my map or character sheet lags. I get random lag spikes in combat too but towns seem to be the worst.
Hardly ever experienced this in s4. It’s not totally game-breaking but it’s pretty close and highly annoying.

I’m not 100% sure it’s actually lag. If I have task manager up on another screen, d4 goes to 'not responding during these bursts.
Worse today than it’s been all week
The lag in the past week has been rough. It’s not bad enough to stop me from playing but is bad enough to make everything feel weird.

Yeah just had the game completely lock up again. These clowns haven’t even acknowledged it never mind doing anything to fix it. Just pathetic! I have never had these problems in the past
i cant do helltides, game freezes until death over and over, even lowest settings when i used to play on high with raytracing. just uninstalled, ill come back for the expansion i bought already i guess.
Tried farming Helltide for EB, and the lag made it all but unplayable. Nothing like taking lethal damage from a pack that appears after you die.
i have only been getting lag when i first port back to town. wb, hordes, pit and helltide are all fine now for me. once i port to town it lags but then catches up after like 20-30secs
