Subterranean Aspect OMG FUN - Poison Creeper Cast Aoe Landslide

Cool haven’t used that one yet.

Well the thing is I’m still trying to be a Poisonslide build. The companions compliment and ramp up that damage. So I have Stampede on Totem and Retaliation on 1h for the moment. Of course I’m staved for Aspect room atm cause I’m still Trampleslide/Bulwark

My next question is can companions Crit and reset Creeper? Ideally trying to scale Creeper to not just be for Aoe farming but also Boss killing.

Sorry I wish. I know a lot players want to have a Zoo build.

I was wrong here – there are definitely two creepers with the aspect moving around on the ground.

Only one AoE active effect tho which is kinda bumming me out. I guess it would be a bit overpowered to have “Vines strangle all surrounding enemies” twice.

Landslide via Creeper certainly looks bigger in area to me with Aspect of the Shepherd. I’m missing some CDR on my ammy from swapping things around to fit it in but when I have enough density to insta-reset the cooldown it seems very effective.

ETA:
Is what I get for posting when distracted, meant Aspect of the STAMPEDE, for 1 extra companion.

Ok so first time I tested it with Codex Shepards Aspect on Ring for a Zoo build and it made Landslide rip on my Poison Creeper. So 6% dmg per Companion. I didn’t have the Companion Heart.

So 4 Raven, 3 Wolf, 2 Creeper = 9x6 = 54(x)% Core

Main takeaway is it works. So this has some big scaling potential with right gear. I did Helltide with Wolf, Raven on bar and yes it sucks to do that for sure compared too the fun of Trampleslide with Creeper.

I’m going to go back to regular build for lvling/farming. Then come back at this with better gear, companion Heart. My gear isn’t very good but the build just carries.

I was using wolf with the companion aspect and the poison creeper landslide, but I changed to pulverize-trampleslide-poisoncreeper when I got aftershock and replaced wolf with Grizzly Rage. It is doing well, I am only 53 though, I just have to remember the order as I use the heart that pulls mobs with ultimate, so gotta hit that first or right after trample to get them all in the landslide.

Before I admit my heresy, let me ask what everyone is using to keep their Spirit up?

While I can be quite content to play a power build, sometimes I am a sucker for theme. So square peg and round hole style, I am thematically going human form only. That means no Trample. Moreover, going Nature’s Fury instead of Earthen Might.

What can I say? Always someone doing something stupid. But it has been a lot of fun and there is a benefit to playing as a ranged caster (ranged until of course they run up on you).

I don’t use Spirit. I never cast Landslide. It’s just there.

Yea most switch from Earthen to Nature’s mid level or soon as possible.

Nice. Had a Barbarian build with only one skill which consumed Fury and then as part of a rotation which produced more Fury, so Edgemaster was a natural fit.

As a caster Druid though, I do consume Spirit (more woes for being offbeat). Rapid Aspect has been letting me get back Spirit quickly and it was not like when tossing Landslides at range I am not going to be using a basic attack (Earth Spike) for the chance to Immobilize.

I mean I do want to make a Storm druid at some point when density improves cause it works great and explodes packs. So for Spirit the Heart that has a chance to fill resources to full is great.
