I’ve completed around 50 run of Pit, Last Lvl Cleared 47 and not a single stygian stone drop. Is is bugged or is something needed to be done before they start dropping?

I’m at Pit 65 with zero drop so far. Seems we need to reach a threshold level before stygian stone can even drop.
I’m at Pit 2 and I haven’t seen these stones or do you mean the ones to start the pit?
nope, i got one at 47, however, i assume the drop rate just increases with the level you play. going for 60+ now, so lets see how the drops change.

Are the mat drops random or is that a fixed range for each corresponding to pit lvls?
Seems to be random, I got 5 and only went up to 43.
Stygian Stones are required to summon the new level 200 bosses. They’re only found in the Pits though. That’s what they’re talking about.
Hopefully they are more common the higher in the pit you go, but no ones confirmed this yet obviously.

Incorrect, they drop from world bosses as well.

They need to massively hotfix buff this ASAP.
They stole my mats DCing me after an hour of wiping on Andariel and getting very close to killing her. Now I need to farm this pointless thing just to try again to finish the season journey.

Are you me? this happened to me last night. Dc and losing all that is not fun.
Thankfully I realized I didn’t need to do it to finish the season journey and just finished it with world bosses.
You actually get a handful of stygian stones as part of the season journey reward on the final step.
I do still think they should buff the drop rate on these though. A lot of people probably just want to do tormented versions of bosses over their normal versions.
actually i got 2 stygian stones not doing pit or world bosses, neither of them gave me anything. I killed around 15 world bosses and i´m 30 pit.
Really low now… on ptr where higher
They have to raise it a bit, the rate is way too low , level 63 and 0 stones

The drop rate is indeed puzzling.
I have cleared more than 20 levels and 60+deep pits, but I haven’t seen any of them.
I feel like this drop rate is even harder than Un Equipment

Had to look this up because I wasn’t finding them. Found threads about people running tier 60-70 and they still aren’t dropping. If that’s the case they need to up the droprate of these things.

Done almost 30 Pit runs now, just hit Pit Level 82. Guess how many stygian stones I’ve gotten now?! YOU GUESSED IT! ZERO. WTF is going on? Why are they so damn rare? Lol is this Blizzards way of player retention for this season? So we will play this for 3 months doing Pit to get 4 Stygian stones to try 2 uber bosses? Please buff it up my guys, almost 30 runs and 0% drop rate is hot garbage.

Just cleared pit 101, still no stygian stones dropping for me… What was the point of making the boss ladder less grindy with a harder version if we need a new material just to fight them? Blizzard’s idea of solving a problem is by adding a new problem.
