During the whittling sanity quest of act three specifically when it says “help lorath search for clues in the carvers house” Lorath gets stuck when inspecting the broken carvings. I dont think i am missing a trigger point as I have carefully looked over the whole area. He is just frozen in animation infront of the broken carvings and there doesnt seem to be any way to progress and complete act 3.

Still not working, tried about 8 times over the last 5 hours and nothing. Guess ill try again tomorrow.

Click the book on a table in the first room to get past this very unintuitive quest.

No luck. I hit the tome in the first room before he got hung up so he’s just standing in front of the broken carvings not moving.
I had the same thing happen twice, but I managed to get past it. I logged out and logged back in (had to sit in queue - ugh) and then redid the quest. When he gets to the house, don’t touch anything until he goes to the statue. Once he stops and looks stuck, go back to the first room and read the book on the table. After the RP finished, he moved inside. Hope that works for you. It’s a pain but it’s better than being blocked from progressing!
There are actually 2 books in the first room, I’m not sure which one is required but after I clicked both he started walking
I had the same problem.
Clicking on the book in the frist room worked for me… but I think this should be fixed.
This doesn’t seem to be the “right way”.
I moved on w/ the quest by clicking on the book thats on the table with chairs around it in the 1st room. You get a voice over “cut scene”. When its done Lorath moves on to the statue.
