I’m currently around Torment 3, perhaps a little over.
I’m doing bosses at Torment 2, because 3 is still too hard.
I just used all my tries at Belial, with no mythic drop at all!
HOW DO YOU GET A MYTHIC DROP?
Note that I’m playing solo, because that is what I want.
My gear is 12/12, only one piece 8/8.
So nothing more for upgrading.
The pit is pushed as far as I can, i little over T3.
All 4 glyps are legendary plus a little extra, many tries on 16 percent chance.
Now I’m just about to give up! SERIOUSLY!
There is NOTHING more I can push now, just waiting for at drop!
Their so called end game for drops is broken if you are searching for that mythic. Unless in a group, your chances are better to win the lottery than getting that 4GA or mythic.
I have given up looking for that mythic drop. Make sure you are really building around the class/style you are playing. Why 16% chance? Your glyph are at legendary based on what you posted and you are complaining you cant do T3? Im confused. Pit 55 is T4 so if you can clear that then you should be good. Bosses are a different story. Check you build and make sure your gear is tempered properly.
Welcome to the current and future state of Diablo 4.
Ok, Druids absolutely suck in this game. Sorc this season is hydra and it smokes content. Was playing that before it got overpowered for this season. Come find me in game with my bnet and i can give you some hydra gear (axial conduit not included as its hard to get)
Hard to give advice without knowing your builds and specifics. If it’s a homebrew build, you may struggle a bit. Not saying that premade builds are amazing by any stretch, but they do abuse the multiplicative stats to allow you to deal more damage.
I just dont want to copy builds, I have much experience with diablo games, and know pretty much how I build around items/glyps and so on.
I’m doing Frozen Orb Sorc with the conjuation.
I have 800 gear for that with maxed masterworking.
And more gear to support it.
I just need Mythic now to go further.
The unique undercity tribute seems to have by far the best droprate for mythics. In my limited experience it drops a mythic almost half the time. The tributes are hard to get though, but I tend to get around ten per season.
Only 4 glyphs? Most builds have 5, which is the cap enforced by the game. You may want to drop some rare clusters in favor of getting the fifth board. Or if you’re below paragon 150-ish, just get some more levels first.
I get that completely, I’m just suggesting maybe taking a look at what other people are doing and possibly making a build with their ideas in mind is all. Doesn’t have to be a 1 to 1, make it work for you. I’m just saying in general, looking at what other people are doing may give you some ideas is all.
But I think this is just the developers that NEEDS to do better.
I HATE seeing the same builds over and over.
Why not just boost rare/underpowered builds? Should be simple yes?
D4 has the best revenue focused ex used car salesmen running the show. Makes me wonder why endgame (and other stuff) is broken, players are unhappy and leaving in droves earlier each season.
Oh I agree completely. It’s very annoying that their idea of balance is to nerf the best builds every season, just to replace them with a new FotM the next season. Frozen Orb may be amazing in S10 for example, but then Hydra will be horrible again. You never know.
Ain’t that the truth.
I just HATE being forced upon a class and build.
And like i choose now, it should still be able to get better.
Even with no drops, the playtime should raise my charactor for being better, with paragon or something else.
My policy with this is that I get as far as I can without any guides. If I end up not feeling satisfied about the result, I check a guide to get some ideas of what mechanics or interactions I might have missed. I won’t incorporate something into my build unless I understand how it works. Often it’s obvious enough once I see all of the skills, aspects and glyphs together. Discovering the combinations can be hard because there’s so many different sources of effects.
I cant stop thinking about Diablo 3.
I was never stuck in that game.
I could always progress.
This is something different, D4 NEEDS to change if I am to keep playing.
I can help you more specifically. You don’t need mythics for T4.
I just got both my characters into T4 these are on 2 classes I don’t play that much. Rogue and Barb.
I do play Sorc and Druid a lot though, and both of these classes are stronger than the two I played.
I hear the most reliable method is to grind for sparks from the season journey by making alts repeatedly. Have you tried that?
Also, if you haven’t tried pulverize Druid with the new 2h mace, it’s super fun and can clear T4 without mythics.
If you’re insisting on avoiding the strong builds and making your own instead, you will continue to have frustration. Blizzard’s design philosophy is unlikely to change.
The tricky part is that Blizzard can’t actually boost builds. They can boost skills, aspects, and other things which affect builds. But any single thing is likely to affect multiple builds. Like your frozen orb build is kinda mediocre, so Blizzard could boost the frozen orb skill or some aspect which only affects that skill, right? But what would that mean for other frozen orb builds? How certain are you that your frozen orb build is the best possible and boosting it wouldn’t make some other build OP?
A couple of seasons ago I played a ball lightning sorceress because of the new unique focuses. I think my own efforts came to a standstill in early T3. Then I looked at a guide and discovered some interactions I hadn’t considered myself. After implementing them I could easily destroy T4, including bosses, and push pit to something like 75. I don’t think there would have been any way to boost my homebrew build that wouldn’t also make the build from the guide even more powerful.
I actually have saved the gear drops for that.
I just can’t stand the game/developers to dictate what I can, and what I can’t.
I’t nothing but lazyness that some builds works and others don’t.
There is a difference between copying builds and learning from other players who have studied those builds and maximized their potential. Would we have skyscrapers if we had not learned from the Egyptians, and Greeks, or the builders of Gothic Cathedrals?
If you look at and study the differences between your build and the builds in the build guides than you will become better at creating your own builds. Go to the build guides not seeking to copy but to learn…
