And this is where all the steamer defenders will come out. Yes streamers are a plauge to everything but they make money off their click bait. They make money off other peoples work but as long as people “follow” them they are getting paid.

It’s honestly on the Devs - AoZ should be locked at the time of Activation. Period.
If I open Solo - it’s locked to ME - there’s no “hey hurry come quick BS’s about to die. get teh phat xp myfavstreemurevar ilysfm!!”

This is an old D3 exploit called Rifting it Forward. Genuinely surprised they allowed this to slip into the game. If you’re going to copy paste greater rifts at least copy the safeguards it has. The streamers using this know it’s exploiting.

i saw robs video yesterday using a 2nd account on his laptop using an Exploit to bypass Nightmare resets, which normalyl can’t work, but welp ig someone found a bug or he did and decided to abuse it -_- and make a video about it.
if any other person did this it would be an instant warning or ban!

Exploits are on the developer to fix or address how they handle exploiters, Blizzard has rules about it, if they don’t enforce it, get mad at the company/devs.

It is more than that. The engagement they have with an audience base attracts sponsors and advertisers. More engagement = more sponsors and advertisers. It means some streamers engage in stunts, put on personalities, engage in drama, etc. to draw in viewers/subs/follows.
Those stunts or drama may not even be genuine, but it gets eyeballs on a page. Again, companies want access to their audience now that they have built it.
My opinion is that the drama. faux opinions (sometimes) put forth, stunts, etc can be detrimental to the games they stream. It skews and amplifies input to the Devs far in excess of what they larger player base thinks/feels.
It is like having a megaphone for those old Jack-donkeybehind shows that used to be on TV then people taking it seriously.
Not every streamer does that, but I think as their audience and following grows, it is hard to resist that siren call of trying to build it bigger an bigger. So needing more and more “interesting” content.

Who really wastes their time paying attention to this?
this streamer is always cheating and exploiting. I was in Zero empathy in D3 for a short time and i left after i was disgusted how they cheated using bots, D3helper and other tools and exploits and they were rarely banned.
now he’s doing it again only in D4, getting carried like a little b to lv 100 getting carried for xp glyph and only playing broken builds and instead of getting banned he is becoming famous like he’s breaking records
its like he has unlimited sigil powder and gets 20 times more glyph xp. not to mention the macros and tools that he’s using. does blizzard think that a player that clicks on btns for 12 hours a day can still be fresh like a player who only moves his mouse and tools are triggered for him.
i have zero expectations from this game esp after they release the new content without fixing any of the bugs that some classes have. go play necro and you see how garbage it is. only one build of necro is viable others are getting 1 shotted even on tier 1
