Does he not know that casuals and even non-casuals do not always play top tier builds? Is this man out of his mind? He thinks everyone plays a LS Sorc? Get real my guy.
Since the snapshot was taken early, i only have my Omegasurge build in PTR, with no Mythics, but i found a few upgrades along the way and got a IP750 weapon. Was it easy? No, it was a drag from T3 forwards. Casuals will not find the game enjoyable if you tune it more difficult. I was doing T7 Horde in season with this B-tier Omegasurge build for reference.

It’s the truth that the devs work for streamers.

Does you not know there should be difficulty for tryhards? You are casual and you don´t like playing Stier builds? That is totaly ok! Play lower diff. Get real my guy.
Why suboptimal casuals thinks they for some reasson should be able to play most difficult content. You are casual, play casual diff… really simple.

And that’s perfectly fine, just nerf the build and problem solved
Because they’ll either buff up mobs and leave everyone else behind, or make features that are required 500 times to beat to get something of use from it
IDK how you DON’T understand it

He’s out for clicks, likes and subs.
That’s it.
Play your way.

This is just factually false.
I love Elden Ring and I am pretty bad honestly, still enjoyed every moment of it
You don’t like the game because the game is bad, it’s never about difficulty.

if its undertuned for s tier builds then it should be balanced for the rest, seems logical to me

I play LS Sorc like most people. Where is it stated i don’t like playing S-tier builds?
No, you shouldn’t tune the base game difficulties for top tier builds.

Sry, my misstake.
Well if we exclude casuals/tryhard you are right they should not balance content around broken build. They should remove that broken builds and problem solved.
Elden Ring is more about skill. D4 is much less about skill, more about finding the right items and building your character, finding synergies with basic math.
D4 vanilla was not enjoyable because it felt like a drag. I’m not saying Torment difficulties are overtuned, but tuning it more difficult than it is now, when its a drag for a B-tier build, its not gonna go well with players trying to enjoy the game “their way” like the game was originally marketed as.

Please please please don’t leave these difficulty levels so undertuned. Please make them much much harder.
Remember back when Diablo III was like “Inferno mode?” “You’re going to get your a$$es kicked, we promise.” I want that! I want more more more of that. “We probably spent an hour wiping on a boss.” Yes! More of that!

Not everyone needs to be able to do every difficulty. Please make the two hardest difficulties unapproachable for most people.
And that goes for leveling, too, not just Torments. Make the two highest leveling difficulties HARD.

Isn’t that the point of the levels though? If you have an s tier build one of them should at least be hard for you?
If you’re using a non s tier build then you have lower tiers to play in.
But hard-torment 1 did feel weak.

The highest difficulty tier should not be made for casuals though.

As long as they don’t gate materials necessary for basic character advancement behind the harder difficulty mode, I think we’re fine.
The harder difficulty modes should be challenges for the dedicated player, not required to complete a season journey.

Dunno prob is the class/build that is broken
dude was going ez even with the 540 items on high torment/pit levels
If Diablo 4 is your main game, you are a casual. Shallow skill tree, cookie-cutter paragons, shallow itemization, OP gear that makes or breaks your "build, etc. Nothing in this game is hardcore. Nothing.

Its not about LS/FO sorc my friend its about combo Tyriel Might - Shako
…
Here what is an idea (my guess)
No Tyriel Might - you pretty much capped by Hord 6/Pit 60-75 or so no matter what class you are playing. And yes even if you are playing this season creams of the crop LS/FO sorc you still going to be toasted

Wrong. He did it just fine with no Mythics and even a IP540 weapon. The Splinter aspect scales with Crit Damage though.
It can be tuned harder in pits 70+
Otherwise i like em
I want to be able to do Infernal Hordes 7 with my homebrew 17-damage build
HAVE AT THEE VILE CREATURE!!! ROARRRR!!!
