In diablo 3 they had very powerful sets that would require you to play specific ways to get value out of them.
In diablo 4 we have the same thing, but with the streamer builds.

And it was terrible just as 10000% dmg buffs, 2 minute cooldowns, running around unable to do any damage.
Also as bad as Renown system with Lilith statues is in D4, it was still way more fun to do than set dungeons.
You realy want streamers to be scapegoats for some reason.
But in D4 itās not hard to get to the same conlusion, and put togeather the same build, maybe with 1-2 minor differences here and there.
Yes, you can get the same result by playing essentially the same thing the streamers insisted the game be balanced around
You are realy funny. ![]()
You could say that, but remember, set items give you one extra affix per piece. Thatās why they were popular in D3. If we are getting set items, I hope the affixes add a fun factor rather than being overpowered. For example, turning your minions into zombies for Necro or giving the Rogue a raven that attacks enemies every 6 seconds.
Facts you donāt know:
D4 is a math game, and how to mix and match to maximize the damage is inherent in the game, and the Streamers only āSummarizeā the conclusion faster than the average player, rather than āInventingā the conclusion.
Without the Streamer, this ābest buildā will sooner or later be summed up by social media (forums, etc.). If you donāt like these āoptimalā builds, or think you can develop a ābest optimalā build, you can do it yourself, come on
!
Thatās not how it works though, they negotiate the patch notes so that they have the build ready to go and can get those clicks right away from the start of the season.
That bugged interaction reliant build is a product of cooperation between activision and their streamers
OP is convinced that streamers influence the balance of the game way more than they realisticly do. ![]()
Man D3 sets were so dumb that in fire themed set damage dealer is a Cold Meteor or with Summoner themed set for Necro summons donāt deal any damage, are just to buff other aoe skill.
God your tinfoilhat must be pressing too hard on your head. ![]()
Go pay a streamer to play a video game
Sometimes I always wonder:
I, who āexonerated the streamerā, or
OP, who āfeel that the streamer is manipulating the worldā
which one love the streamer more
.
I never payed or watched streamers play. But keep trying. ![]()
what a strange take, i did build some good sorc builds that rivals maxrolls or other āstreamerā-builds, w/o checking their builds first. Am i a streamer now, even if im not streaming?
It is very impressive that you landed on the same thing the streamers lobbied for. Was it perhaps the perma-immune basic skill sorcerer?
nope i made a LS build on the ptr. or others during s1-3, i havent played s4 much, the FS meta bored me. But anyone could build a FS firebolt build, d4 isnt rocket scienceā¦
No, only if you are low IQ. Maxroll makes some bad decisions with their builds too.
Do streamers even make their builds? I always assumed they were getting them off the number crunching sites and things like Icy Veins like the rest of us. For someone that seems to hate streamers, giving them a lot of credit for inventing these builds.
The problem is always bugs⦠90% of meta builds are done like this. Those who play 24 hours a day and test everything have a great chance of discovering what is broken.
