some say it might be some overlay from nvidia thats not working correctly? or overwolf?
for one guy in this thread he says it was NVIDIA Reflex.
(just noting tho using overlays is against the ToS, so dont post something that can get you =) )
overlays??? you mean what by it? Nvidia is against ToS? if so… by showing the square i’m already screwed…
i deactivate the only overlay i had from Nvidia to stream my gameplay… also restart the game and square still there.
oh no nvidia of course is fine. i was rather refering to overwolf =)
just wanted to make sure incase you were using something like that, that you dont get yourself into trouble =)

Unfortunately not, the square itself if he was staying black that will be less anoying but it blink white and black all the time!
I have done a D4 repair also nothing wrong. that annoying blinking square will haunt me i think… i will turn ooff my computer in case of a memory remmanent bug and unplug it for a minute and turn it on after…
Might be my way to salvation!
seeing that reddit thread im pretty sure it will have something to do with some overlay. eventually someone else here whos more experienced on this has an idea?

Square is stuck there and blinking even if everything is off, Reflex, Game bar, Nvidia Overlay… name it lol!
Also latest Nvidia Drivers 31.0.15.5244 (released on 2024 may 7th)
Windows 11 Pro if it matter!

Did you go into geforce experience and switch the nvidia reflex option off? It should be under performance monitoring.
Once you turn that off and restart the game it should be gone.
UPDATE : On August 5th the damn squared reappeared and i’m stock with it!
ok it’s same in the menu in Diablo and it was deactivated.
Today it dissapeared…
Can’t say what change since everything said before was done yesterday without any change on my result. The mysterious squared only dissapeared today without doing anything.
