This may technically be a personal setup issue, but it must be far from a rare one, as OneDrive is built into Windows and Microsoft encourages its use for backup.
Storing the game files in the a user’s Documents folder is not only annoying from a clutter perspective, but more importantly, when you are storing configuration files in the documents folder, those settings get put into use when attempting to later play on a different machine that is syncing/backing up. This seems to be causing crashing in some cases, or at best having to reconfigure graphics settings each time the game is run from a different machine that is syncing.
I believe these files should be in the %user%\Games directory or %user%\appdata directory
