I loved Diablo 2, I still played Diablo 3 the day Diablo 4 came out. Thanks for killing Diablo 3 by the way by crushing the player base, I have nothing to go back to now… That said, I’m stuck with 4 (or 2 I guess). I’m going to post several topics in here to separate my main ideas. Please community, let Blizzard know how you feel here. However, be aware, they will likely never see these posts, because they are above us and we don’t know what we want.
First, I want to say this… STOP LISTENING TO STREAMERS FOR WHAT WE WANT!!! They are almost all SSF, and not your typical player! I don’t want to play solo, and stop making it so I need to play solo! There should be benefits to playing with friends. THAT is what makes SSF so awesome! If you take away all benefits of playing with other players, then SSF sucks. Simple as that!
What have you done to make team play suck?
First, why do you increase the health of mobs by so much? Seriously, if I want to carry someone, why does it have to be so damn hard? I can easily kill a boss solo, I should still be able to kill him with a carry. Especially if it is a stronger carry. Let’s say the other player is 10 levels up on a GR (You basically have pits as GRs now, so don’t gripe about it,) it has such a huge impact on me that I have to play lower levels. The other player may be a 150 paragon to my 200 paragon, still, a huge hit. I can’t play bosses as a team, but can solo. This is just bad.
Second, yes - you finally fixed this, but it took a long time, pits were affectively worthless for a very long time as a team. Only one dude would get the reward, screw everyone else. Still, pits are only for leveling glyphs now, and not really all that much fun.
Third, no XP boost for friends. Come on, give me something here! I HAVE to be next to that player to get the boost? Seriously, you make the mobs have twice the health and give me nothing in return unless I am standing next to that person. Screw you guys, that sucks.
Forth/last from me, season 8, the season of hate your friends. You can no longer share boss materials. What on god’s green earth made this sound like a good idea?!?! How many times do you see parties made by talking about doing ROTAs? Who ever approved this, is the problem, get rid of that person. Let everyone know, you got rid of the cancer. Just WOW!
Every time I download a new seasonal update, I cringe to see what you have done. Every season makes it worse for party players and better for SSF. But now, it has hit a point where SSF is no longer impressive. You guys have effectively wrecked that bragging point. When I hear, it is easier to solo, that is a problem. But it is not just that, you also CAN NOT TRUELY SOLO SELF FOUND! You can’t solo the world boss, you can’t solo the helltides. No, you will run into people no matter what in these locations. Such BS.
