For love of god when people learn… Leaving while not being in town still means that your characters stays in game for several seconds. It doesnt matter you dont see monsters around. Just go to town and then leave. And you dont die.
For real. I ran into an AFK player once where mobs had just spawned around him. Luckily, I was able to kill them before they got him.
Have you seen Quinns death, doesnt matter^^ even porting to town in a safe bubble gets you killed xD
Not everyone check these forums, also it’s not an establish rule, you learned from checking others players mistake or your own…Blizzard should just instant remove your character from the game, allow us to instant remove character on DCs.
I don’t care if other players will abuse that, HC is a personal goal and I’d like to try again but it’s impossible when there’s server issues, power / connection lose…etc, I want only meaningful deads due to gameplay.
I understand that those of us who have played HC for years have Stockholm syndrome when it comes to deaths from DC or otherwise and that it’s just part of the game, but it’s worth acknowledging that there is a different mechanic intentional or not currently at play here.
When we have full health full barrier characters exiting the game and a single mob comes dashing on the screen, and in the split second that it transfers you to character select you already have a prompt that you died… that is not apples to apples the 8-10 second rule we have all been accustomed to.
So somewhere between the “I don’t review the evidence gg go back to normal” and the “wahhh I died” there is some room for a constructive conversation on the possibility that this week old game perhaps isn’t operating perfectly yet.
nooo, let keep going and let them cry about the broken game!
Yeah i did, that was dumb, but it only makes my point important, always leave in town If he left there wehere he was he would aslo die.
What do you mean dude, watch his death again. He didn’t leave game from a dungeon, he was teleporting to town from inside an end of dungeon protective bubble. How does that prove your point that what he should have done is left from town?
