- The Sanctuary is more be safer now
The patch notes could just say in order to prevent an exploit. This way we don’t know if they nerfed us, or if they buffed us, or if it was an exploit, or if it was doing better than it was supposed to or worse. We don’t know anything and they don’t trust us enough to tell us.
I don’t think they have the time nor care to bother to write them all out at this point. I know I wouldn’t.
Every other game seems to, even within their own company.
I know. I’m not defending them, believe me. They do this with WoW all of the time too when they do a hotfix.
lol got’em!!!
Meanwhile “we are STILL aware druids’ loot tables are messed up. Our season 3 team is working on a fix!”
That’s why they had to gut the paragon board also wasn’t properly tested and now we’re left with just stat increases lol so much for that game altering paragon board eh
Heres some examples:
world of warcraft: [Hotfixes: June 14, 2023
- Eternity Surge will no longer fail to deal damage and go on cooldown if your enemy goes out of line of sight after the empower cast is completed.
Theres a change, and an explanation of what caused the problem. Diablo 4’s would look like
“Prevented Eternity surge from having an unintended interaction.”
Final fantasy XIV: [Patch 6.4 Notes | FINAL FANTASY XIV, The Lodestone]
Can now be executed while bound.
To improve the functionality of this action, High Jump will no longer affect the character’s position as recognized by the server.
The camera will no longer follow your character when executing High Jump.
FFXIV same change: [FINAL FANTASY XIV Job Guide]
System-side adjustments have been made to Jump and High Jump so that, while the attack animations will show players jumping into the air and striking enemies from above, the server will not recognize these actions as character movement. Following this change, players can now execute Jump and High Jump even when bound. Situations where players accidentally enter hazardous areas or land outside of battle stages because of jumping should also be reduced.
League of Legends: [Patch 13.12 notes
- If Helia Procs and Noone’s Around to Hear It…: Fixed a bug that was causing Echoes of Helia to activate when no enemies were nearby. This would heal allies while not consuming any stacks.
Destiny 2:
[Destiny 2 Update 7.1.0 - Season of the Deep |
- Fixed an issue where the player that casts Well of Radiance would do more than intended damage against Persys in Spire of the Watcher.
Do you see? Every game used language that explains the issue/problem. Diablo doesn’t even try.
Lol so true, Diablo patch notes. We fixed some issues, think they put this here as filler like they did something but they really didn’t do anything making us think they are being active
In short, I think they made so that the Aspect of the Blurred Beast(Leaping with Shred instantly applies 60-90% of the total poison dmg on nearby enemies) can’t trigger Toxic Claw, when it could, you could build up the poison dot on your enemies based on the poison dot, so infinitely increasing it.
I changed to Blurred Beast 2 days ago, using my own build of it which only applies Poison using Shred crit with Toxic Claw, It was working fine past these two days, around 9 hours ago, I went to a World Boss, Avarice, I killed it within 10 seconds, It was fun.
It is very strong against single target, so strong that you can kill Lilith 1st phase before she send any waves, and 2nd phase before she cut any land.
What they fixed is probably the whole potential of this build, I was doing NM60 pretty easily, now it’s getting hard to even complete NM55… Extremely lacking in boss killing department, well Blurred Beast is dead, time to switch back to Stormwolf, and for the… They would fix Druid’s loot spawn and let me get a Greatstaff of Crone instead of all these Barbarian Weapons.
PS: I found this forum because I noticed how bad my damage suddenly became, and there were no patch note on the bnet…
Next patch notes:
- Numbers have been updated on various skills to to unforeseen issues
ggg style notes pls. (This is a buff.)
It makes people paranoid too lol. If suddenly mob density seems different, or drop rates are better/worse, or a skill seems to be under performing… no one knows whether that’s just rng or an actual change Blizzard hotfixed in without telling anyone lol…
What about the LACK of patch notes concerning STEALTH nerfs…
Blizzard: I the whole patch!
Community: ?
Blizzard: The patch! I accidentally the whole thing!!!
Community: ???
Blizzard: THEN WHO WAS PHONE!?!
Come on man, there are technical details and then normal details. These patch notes were written by an intern.
Yeah thats a whole issue in itself too.
Smol indy company with a smol budget… what do you expect…
With the current number of problems, I don’t think they have the strength
to write comments for the patches. They should hire someone to do that.
