Stop saying this or that is boring… Man, I quit the game after prebeta and beta after grind 2 druid lv 100, and I just came back on it for VOH and EVERYTHING is boring nothing change… No matter what you do, you do it for NOTHING… It is what D4 is…No leaderboard… No proper endgame AND if they put this it will stay BORING cause gameplay is very simple and made for casual player…I enter pit 140 i just stay in the middle avoiding NOTHING (anyway we cant see Nothing)waiting for kill…We are soooooooooooo far than the d3 gameplay…There is no mecanic at all and about 4 ppl party there is absolutly no synergy at all.D3 4 player GR was about having one dps for trash,one boss killer and 1 or 2 support luring the mob and support dps build or something.So they added a ton of QOL since lunch but they will NEVER change the core…So season for hardcore player will always be 3 or 4 week max burn the game then quit season or for casual they will farm 3 month without knowing it is for nothing but they will never see it since they will not reach that wall!
D3 still exists if you want to do greater rifts till your eyes bleed. D4 definitely needs more game modes but it definitely has more of an endgame then D3 had 
It has a midgame, but it most definitely doesn’t have an endgame unless you want to grind 4GA gear and try to push higher in the Pit.
Well they added GR to apease that crowd. Loot hunt is the end game imo as it is in all arpgs
The loot hunt is by far the most boring part of the game in D4. You get all of your gear early on and then you are just grinding for good aspects and GA rolls that basically never drop.
I never said D4 loot was exciting but in arpgs its all about the loot hunt. It reminds me to much of oversimplified D3 loot. Thank god we dont have pigeon hold set yet.
