After a helltide, suddenly i noticed all stronghold on the map that i have cleared seem to be reset, which lead to me no longer able to access to the dungeons as well as waypoints in those strongholds but on my renown system it still shows that i have cleared the strongholds and unlocked waypoints.
Do not know what will happen as in renown point wise if I clear the stronghold again now, I will try it later and provide update on what happens if i clear it again.

If you cleared again, the renown score cannot be regained
All the strongholds seem to be considered as I have already started the event which lead to strongholds that is designed traps player inside until it is completed (like Nostrava Stronghold) cannot be accessed as the doors are shut and I was not able to go inside.
The strongholds with other method of entry (like Tur Dulra) can still be cleared.
I am unsure about whether the side quests are being reset as I dont remember what side quest I have completed and I haven’t.
As a result I have completely lost access to few area of map as well as the dungeons in those inaccessible strongholds and I honestly don’t want to reclear it because it is annoying.
Now for the potential cause of the bug, I am honestly unsure but ill list a few that might be the case.
- Due to the alt character as I just created new character yesterday and I played on it earlier today. But considering strongholds that I have also cleared in alt character is also reset, don’t feel like this is the cause.
- Something happen when the helltide started? as I can assure it was fine before helltide, in fact, I’ve seen a resetted stronghold during hell tide at Kehjistan which the stronghold I’ve seen is the alter of ruin but on the map, it didn’t show that the stronghold was reset until I have actually got to the area in game.
- This is the most possible cause I think is that I’ve been invited to a group during helltide. There was another player who was the leader which I don’t remember the name, from here is assumption but I feel there is possibility that he haven’t cleared the alter of ruin which I approached it when I was in his party then something happened or conflicted in the system where he haven’t cleared it but I have cleared it leading to some weird reset of all other stronghold on my account?. But it is uncertain whether he actually haven’t cleared the stronghold it just assumption.
Lastly please fix it and fix MY account so I don’t need to clear it again or at least, remove those doors in certain strongholds.
ps. please make the map discovery shareable between characters as it is annoying to rediscover the whole thing
Another update: the issue seems to be fixed when I logged out and logged back into the game.
