I logged in to get the terrible Renown bs out of the way and I could not believe that there still is not any Map Overlay (tab in every other arpg).
It’s literally unplayable. I got about 20 Lilith statues into the grind and then just alt f4. It’s so bad.
Yea, no overlay map feels weird af but when S2 starts we will have a zoomed out minimap so it’s better than nothing.

No, it is not playable for me without the minimap overlay.
The game “runs” - but it is not enjoyable to play, therefore it is unplayable. It is not a technical or performance issue, but a “this game is not fun to play” issue.

So the funniest part about these map posts to me is that i 100% didnt even notice u til i saw the first one. Then after that i was like… oh i always do what i do mow anywyay. The overlay map always annoyed me because it got in the way of the graphics… lol
even funnier, you preordered the game, canceled it. then rebought it knowing there isnt an overlay, and probably put 60-80 hours in it (assuming you finished the campaign) without a mini map.

No, they haven’t added an overlay map yet and AFAIK they haven’t stated any plans to do so.
I get annoyed when people respond to feedback with “Well I don’t want it so nobody should need it and the game shouldn’t have it!”, so I’ll simply say that if they add one eventually that’s cool but I’d never use it myself. The mini map provides all the map info I need without mucking up my view of the actual game I’m playing.
D1 and d2 do. I dont think d3 does… maybe it jad an option somewhere.
We get an autorun now though. So you can look at the map while running toward your mouse still.
