Still no minion control

We have been asking for a very simple way of controlling minions since the beta, but Blizzard can’t seem to undestand players.

Instead we get half though out, incomplete mechanics, that don’t even work as intended.

They tried having minions target cursed enemies, huge failure.

Now they made minions be more aggressive and auto attack enemies that are further away, sounds good, now they just aggro the entire screen on you, but they still easily get stuck on dungeon walls, between rooms.

What we’ve been asking for is a simple keybind that allows us to send minions to the position of the cursor, to either go there if it’s just terrain or to attack the enemy that is highlighted.

How much longer and how many more failed mechanics do they need to experiment with, till we get the simple solution we need, a solution that’s been in other games for ages (see Grim Dawn as an example)?

Direct minion control?! How undemocratic of you. Your build must be bombed so that you can learn to appreciate the virtues of liberal values.

That would be nice, but then you have to ask yourself what button you are willing to give up on your control bar with the way this game is designed. It would be nice if another slot was available.

A few ppl isnt enough for them to care.

Question: What about people, who play the game on controllers? How would they be able to control a minion?

ive run several minion builds and I basically use my curse to give them a nudge since they attack what I do.

The button should be the exact same. The Priest button.

Use it on a corpse? Priest.
Use it on an enemy? Target.

I haven’t seen a strictly 6-button controller on a console since SNES/Playstion 1 days.

This entire attachment to 6 active skills for the sake of console controllers is antiquated. Sony dualsense has had 10 easily accessible single action buttons since PS3. PS4/5 has 12.

I never really found myself using the active portion of Command Skeleton in D3 unless I was going for that one particular build.

Commanding the Golem feels good enough, and it can do serious damage depending on your build.

Putting a few more hours into seasons really prooves that they messed up minions, they were ok in season 4.

They are consistently getting into fights 2 screens away, not coming to you, not going after cursed enemies.

Blizzard does something good then immediately makes it worse with the next patch, this is a friggin joke.
