Yep, same thing with my game and I am reinstalling the game because a similiar issue happened for me with another game but now I am seeing that its a bug.

Agree mate. The funny thing is they knew a trial was going on in steam and did not test out that it works fine before releasing the patch.

Is there a time frame of when it will be fixed or not yet? And it seems to be something to verify ownership of the game because it does not show up on Battlenet as bought but I don’t know if it should anyways.

Please hurry… I bought the Ultimate expansion because I love what you guys have been doing for the game! Didn’t expected to be blocked from playing after a patch.

I see almost everyone on Steam has this problem. I reported it to technical support, but a bot replied to me, so I don’t know when I’ll be able to play

I’m a new player and enjoyed playing it during the free weekend trial, and bought it after a few hours. Now I can’t even play it… I might just wait for Path of Exile at this stage.

Same here in Germany, Europe. Bought on Steam. Worked smoothly up to small patch today. Played like 4 hours ago without problem

Same problem here. Instead of giving us an expansion or something else for this issue could you please just allow Steam users to play on the PTR? I used to play the PTR all the time back in the D3 days and contributed a lot to finding bugs. Now that I am stuck on steam I can no longer contribute to making the game better. Hope everyone the best!

Same here… i bought my game on steam on 22nd Aug and today when i logged in after siablo 4 got updated via steam, it says that your trail period has ended.

you need better QC asap, sorry, but this is a major downer and it’s been hours so far. Makes me not want to buy expansion at this point tbh.
