Unclear. I’m just trying to help out by relaying info to them & translating their posts… I don’t want the thread to get shut down just because of communication gap.
There does seem to be a pattern (shows up in other threads) of Blizzard customer service not being able to verify a copy purchased on Steam. It’s come up so often, that it probably points to a technical problem on Blizzard’s end. Something doesn’t seem to be set up right, so that Steam purchases aren’t being correctly relayed to Blizzard.
Anyway, people finding this thread are definitely clicking Pez’s link here, so they’re following guidelines. Hopefully someone on the other end will help them out soon.
