Silly question but i have wow brain is raw damage better then stats for example a polearm dropped that was 100 damage more with no stats the sword i was using had 80 strength and 40 to all stats which is better
Not an easy answer. Have to equip it track tool tips. Not only that when you get to paragon board might need raw stats as pre-reqs for glphs and rare nodes bonuses.
For me + Core skill mod tends to weigh heavily over just raw damage. Some things like bleeds IAS does seem to matter on wep.
Does the raw stats you get help with armor or things like crit and pre-reqs. If it’s early level don’t matter to much but all this matters latter when trying to make a build work 50+
Example - coming up on a rare node in Paragon and don’t have enough Dex to get the 10% bonus damage. So now I need dex for a lot more dmg.
