Just like title says - obnoxious POP when getting on mount. Sounds like speakers are going to blow out. It’s definitely not a sound effect.

I am also getting this. Started with expansion, large pop sound when mounting.

Its the new seasonal mount. Swap mounts, fixes issue.
Did you read my comments above? It does it on all of them, not just the cat.
I’m only getting it on the new T1 Seasonal mount. That must be annoying hearing it on all of them. Hope they fix it soon. 
Had this too. Switched mount to cat, and removed armor. Then switched to horse, no armor. Then back to horse with armor. Seemed to fix the issue for me.
Update - not sure if Blizz fixed things, but I didn’t change mounts or armor at the stable. Noise is gone, thank goodness.
