All aspects of the inventory management system are too small. It makes the game very tedious the further you get into the game. You start spending more and more time playing ‘inventory manager 4000’ instead of playing Diablo 4. With one class trying to collect loot for more than one build, inventory management has become a huge chore. I can’t even imagine the nightmare for people playing multiple classes.
A lot of people will probably argue this is not a big deal, but I guarantee this is actually a game killer, as people get more and more frustrated with how much time they are spending playing inventory manager, they will eventually just quit the game. This needs a fix asap and should be the number one priority for the Diablo 4 team.

There’s not a lot of things I miss from D3, but the inventory system is definitely one of them. How we went from that to this is beyond me.

Come on guys. It doesnt matter how mych stash they add.
It ll never be enough. Be real
That is false, I had plenty in D3, I have plenty in PoE. When your stash is large you can sort and evaluate a large amount of items at one time, with a small stash you have to constantly be sorting and evaluating items as they come in, this is tedious and not at all enjoyable.

Just give us a proper search function.

It really really needs a search bar big time. Like really bad.

have to agree… Stash way too small… only 4 tabs… wtf…
and 1 of those tabs is fully of gems and im only 61… (not gonna upgrade them all since i plan on playing alts at some point)
Aspects/Potions/Nightmare sigils each have their own stash tab and im running out of space in those too…

I also support this, let me hoard, damnit, let me hoard and sort by affix / dps / damage per swing / armor, etc.

I rest my case. Prime example
What was your case and why does it rest with me?
Don’t do me like that, elaborate!
Honestly im fine with 4 tabs, but seriously make gems like resources in their own area and not my inventory. Like do people need to have gems in inventory are they used that often?
To be fair, I forgot how the stashes were at the start of D3, I know you could earn stashes as seasonal rewards but there were more than this, weren’t there?
I like how a quarter or third of the stash UI is just some wallpaper
Time played metrics y’all!
Im enjoying Diablo but the stuff theyve done that makes it harder for us to do what we love in Diablo is really winding me up.
Inventory space, nightmare dungeon running with the stupid keys, horse clipping and stopping, slower paced combat, the aspect system. Urgh.
I would welcome a gem bag, similar to what we have for quest items and consumables. This will not only help with decluttering, but help open up my inventory space for actual items.
Add in a search bar for items, and that would be very welcomed as well. Having to mouse over every legendary item to find the aspect is a bit annoying and an inconvenience – especially since legendary items aren’t static (Such as D2 and D3, where you knew the item just by looking at it).
Cheers!
The horse clipping is my major drawback, it’s not as bad as rust but it’s getting there, lol.
Meanwhile, Last Epoch over here in a beta, created by 3 reddit dudes in a basement somewhere, and I have 20 free stash tabs. Each one bigger than all 4 D4 stash tabs and bag space combined. PoE and Blizzard with the “that server space though”. Did I mention that LE was a beta made by basement dudes? Hey Blizzard, take your 4 tiny stash tabs and multiply that by 100. I like my stash organized.

They are adding stash tabs on the store. If your wondering why it feels tedious. It is by design to persuade you to buy it when it comes out.

According to that, “no stash” would be a perfectly valid option.
There should be AT LEAST room for 1 of every unique, 1 of every perfectly rolled legendary power (for your class, not even talking about all the 5 classes, which should be also mandatory), gems, sigils, room for “this item I can’t upgrade yet because I need to get money/materials/aspect”, “these other item’s I’m comparing with my current ones”, and some extra room for not needing to stop in the middle of the helltide to check every 1 and wait until it ends instead.
For the record: a Champions Demise run fills 2 inventories per run.
Well thats one interpretation of what i said. Albeit an incorrect one.
Im just saying for some, more is never enough
