At this point, I’m literally willing to pay money to get extra stash space. The current amount negativity effects my enjoyment in the game, especially now with the armory. Please consider adding more. Again, I’m willing to buy it because it’s so annoying. Thanks
when i asked for this 2 years ago (before the game was released) they said it wasnt a money thing, it is the ancient coding they are using.
So they couldnt do it back than, and Im guessing they havent improved the coding despite the fact they released an xpac.
Hopefully Diablo 5 will have poe2 style coding for storage needs

Why is it both main games I play seem to have absolute dog**** underlying code. Both this game and FFXIV claiming they can’t fix or implement this or that because of bad legacy code. I know the FFXIV community is starting to call BS on that excuse more and more telling them they’ve had over a decade of coasting on goodwill, it’s time to pay the piper. That needs to happen more here and less complaining about random nonsense that doesn’t matter.
Currently? I’ve got 11 active characters. Most are on Eternal where stash space for 10 characters across four different classes is at a premium. With the armory system I could potentially narrow that to one character per class, but I’d still need space to store all the associated gear.
And yes, I do regularly play Eternal. Usually when I’m done with the season.
Ok, but why so much stash space?
Each char has already it’s own gear eqquipped, right? No stash space occupied.
Presumably, the gear is near good, so why stash old gear?
I always stick to the better gear in char, the rest i seel or scrap…
I’ve got 6 eternal chars, and my eternal stash has only one tab occuppied with elixirs and keys…

Seriously, I keep a lot of stuff around for future builds. I like to experiment and try different builds and classes. Was having a lot of fun last season running through undercity with chaos gear turned on to see what I can get for other classes. If I find something interesting, I’ll fire up a fresh character and build toward the new gear. Made two new characters this way last season!
It’s really helpful having spare gear around for new builds. Saves time not having to hunt for a specific piece of gear and see if it works or not.

I’ve found it easy to manage storage (pre armory) if following a strict build and vendoring all else.
It blows out quickly when keeping options open to explore other possibilities than a preset build. This can be pretty fun so I can understand people want that freedom.
This is what happens when you base your coding on old D3 coding. Meanwhile POE 2 is selling tabs left and right and laughing all the way to the bank and not loading other ppl stashes and it works perfectly fine. They were in fact doing this since 2013 or so. A decade and more and POE was beating D4 12 years before it was made in stash handling.

Why so many mythics? You just keep the best 2 GA one or 3 GA and blow up others.

You’re not alone. A lot of players want more stash space. There will be the usual “don’t hoard bro” people, but a lot of people want space for various reasons.
