Gems will be less of an issue considering Blizzard is giving players a gem tab in their regular inventory. Having to store gems in the stash will only be necessary to give an alt some.
Question remains is how many gems? I had over 30 different types just in my stash from crude to perfect.
And it’s not like you are going to have the amount necessary at any given moment to upgrade them.
My guess for gem storage tab would be 1 full inventory page. I can’t see needing more than that for gems.
I guess we can only speculate. I wonder if it will be the same as the other tabs in inventory where they are just 2 rows of 10.
Pretty sure the personal inventory tab was 3 rows of 10.
correct. but for quest tab and the other tab they were 2 rows of 10
they probably shortened those tabs because of how little of quest items you will realistically pick up.
That’s a valid point
HVing trade allows you to liquidate your assets
So if you limit trade you should not limit/restrict storage space
They are the same tabs your sigils will go to, but on the bright side I just broke down the sigils I got from the Tree cuz they were weak compared to what I was doing but if I ran out of space before then then I just wasn’t paying attention.
So who knows what they might change between now and beta and launch.
you say mistake, blizzard says “lol were gonna make a lot of money selling storage space”
personally i’d like a storage where i can put atleast one of each legendary / unique / set items
- to do the holy grail
- to only keep the better one of each and recycle the lower duplicate (for transmogrification and such)
even simply some kind of item liberary tab where i can put one of each kind
Dont worry , the legendary items that u want to keep does not dropped like candy aka D3,
And at max levels , all you want to keep are gg Ancestrals and gg Ancestral aspects
4 stash space pages in the beta, a total of 200 items. Way too little in a loot game with hundreds of items, many levels of gems, and adding more items in future patches.
In the beta it was not a problem filling the whole stash space, and that was only level 25.
If you only play one character and/or casually the stash space is fine.
The problem with Diablo game is the personal inventory. It’s so limited it’s dated.
I don’t really have a problem with this.
They separate quest items and other stuff from what you gather from ground (loot).
