Standard players, anyone refunding?

Based on the feedback from early access players, have any of you submitted a refund for your standard purchase of D4 before launch tomorrow?

I’m glad I paid the premium price and experienced both the excitement and disappointment. It was a small price to pay for experiencing the hype and contributing to beta testing the game. Not sure if I would pay for standard yet until the game is improved in terms of content and build balance. D4 is fun but shallow, not quite a contender among the big arpgs available today.

i bought the standard…im considering it, but most likely will not unless something drastic happens before 4pm tommorrow.

Game feels good so far and actually poses a challenge which is refreshing.

The fact Blizzard are hot fixing issues and making balance changes so quickly shows they really do care about making this a good game.

Personally experienced no server issues on PC and Xbox - worth every dollar IMO.

Yeah it’ll perform just fine imo. Servers have been rock solid for majority of players this weekend. I logged a defect yesterday for skill refunding and they fixed it in todays patch. Overall no glaring issues, will be fun at the start regardless for the first 2 acts.

Why would you refund in the first place? Unless you played a completely different game than what the beta was, that was literally the product. Why would you buy it otherwise? There’s no surprises anywhere.

Hard disagree. $70 is nothing these days, you cant go to the grocery store and spend less than $100. Cant go out to eat for less than $100 either.

The game is a bunch of fun and has at least 100 hours worth of fun gameplay… $70 over 100 hours of entertainment is an absolute steal. I 100% recommend people buy it if they havent already.

Well putting 50 hours into a build just for them to make it unplayable when other classes are still way more powerful then barb is a hard hit

For the beginner casual D4 fits your opinion. Not a bad thing but it’s bad for the franchise and their core player base.

Were we comparing games for time investments? Oh then sorry… Dota is the best out there because its free and I have 5k hours in it.

What does being 100 have to do with anything? You know most people break after getting maxed out with bis yea? Hence seasons

I paid the ultimate price tag and enjoyed the start, lots of fun. Day 2 waned significantly, game is monotonous with too much dialog. In any case, hoping it improves because it has potential. But not too confident the D4 devs can , they made this game.
