Does Crowd Control Duration increase the speed at which the stagger bar fills? Please no speculation, it sounds like it would since the stagger duration is fixed, but I gotta know if its actually been tested.
At the moment, the entire internet just circulates the world boss dev statement on staggering a boss and literally no other information exists outside of that. I feel like someone has done the testing maybe…
I would like to resurrect this post. There is a temper manual that increases duration of crowd control. Does it increase stagger time.
Also on a related note, there are two manuals. One that increases freeze duration for a 25% chance, and another that increases crowd control for 33% chance. It seems like the latter does the same thing as the former, agreed? Except with less conditions.
cc duration does not increase stagger time, but it accumulates more stagger with a cc. So you stagger faster.
Also it has an inherent flaw in design, that makes it bad for high tier pushing if u stack too much. On Elites it has an effect that after the unstoppable triggers, the time you can cc them again increases proportional with the cc duration you have. Which is very bad.
Ofcourse thats only relevent if those elite survive a long time, ie on very high pit tiers.
as ageneral rule you should never aim to make cc over 5 sec duration. cause thats how cc work. doesnt matter how often u cc within 5 sec, the moment u surpass 5 sec a mob is cced it goes into unstoppable.
