Stacking blight and blighted corpse explosion

I’ve read that blighted corpse explosion can stack up to 5 pools. My question is can you ADD to this stack with blight itself?

EG, 1-5 blights stack (if you had enough time of course) on top of 5 blighted corpse explosions? Or is blight basically a wasted skill if you are already consistently stacking 5 blighted corpse explosions and the blight would just result in a smaller AOE doing the same damage while eliminating one of the blighted corse explosions?

Yes, I’m running infinimist and do just that. Blight, corpse tendril into CE stacking.

I am running cookie-cutter bone spear built - I am using CE with blight not as much for mass corpse production but rather for affliction (boosting crit chance/damage for enemy afflicted with darkness … and lol for visual “octopus retreat” effect
