Curious about some of you console players: are you looking to form/join a clan or going solo self found? Brief reason why is also appreciated.
I’m fairly new to console gaming online so I don’t know what features exist to support cross play and clans, groups.
I can play either platform, I’ll join whatever clan has the most toxic name.
Ill probably just make a clan with my friends with no intentions of growing it beyond that. We have all gamed together for a long time. Mostly MMOs where clans/guilds just make it easier. Not sure if being in a clan offers much benefits as I didnt bother with it in beta but no reason not to for me.
As for crossplay its very easy to play with anyone. Friends for instance, you can invite them or ask to join them from your battlenet friends list (so long as they are in it) no matter what platform they are on. There is probably a clan page you can do that from as well.
I will be making a small clan with all my friends. We will keep that until they stop playing. Once im playing by myself, I will leave to find a new clan but probably just for the social aspect. Likely, much of my play will be solo once my friends quit.

Solo; aside from some couch co-op with the wife. I don’t have any friends that play diablo IV, and I have no interest in playing in a group of people I don’t already know. I play FF XIV (my only MMO) because it is my wife’s favorite game. I have never joined a free company there.
I’ll probably try to find a clan that makes use of the clan voice chat so I have some people to hang out with while grinding. I’ll likely only really play solo or duo with my wife though.
Not sure but definitely self found until can find more barbarians. It really depends if I can find a barbarian ONLY clan or find enough people to create one haha. I just think having 3-4 barbarians doing PVP or grinding together sounds really fun. A sort of Viking/knight rampage group :).
Going solo at first but may stay that way. I have tried clans, guild, groupings, whatever over the course of 3 decades and they all end the same way–disappointing. They are either good groups of people who don’t invite outside the circle (the best guild I was in, in WoW was this way), they’re a mega-church guild (pointless–just random with people because it’s the same), or they’re toxic. The latter being the most predominant guild/clan you’ll find.
